player that as of now is he is tied for 11th with 96 total tackles as a Safety out of the top 20 leaders only 3 are
Safeties Antoine Bethea has 97 Jamal Adams has 88
He is one of the best Strong Safeties in Football .
Right now I would say Jamal Adams is the best in the NFL
Although Derwin James is right up there as well .

Collins makes plays, but when he doesn't make them, they cancel out the good ones... like stopping a 38 year old qb at the goal line.... how many missed tackles has he had?.......how many times has he taken himself out of position to make a play?
And now, the last two seasons he has been injured....
He has played four years, with only one where he played well.....
Do you pay him big bucks? Is he part of the Giant's future going forward? Just one of many hard decisions that needs to be made this off season....

For some reference, there are over 3 million Native Americans in the United States.
I have a former co-worker who is from Oklahoma but is pretty damn liberal. She calls Native Americans Indians. Why? Because she knows a ton of Native Americans and that's what they call each other. But of course, ignorant people correct her all of the time. It's no secret that often white people are the most outraged on behalf of certain groups that they're not.
There is an interesting point made in the article that is just maybe a nuance. But the x-rays were negative, but Collins is choosing to have the surgery. Is it the team suggesting surgery? Is it a second opinion suggesting the surgery?
Perhaps, he and his agent haven't had discussions with the Giants on Collins' future contract. If a surgery is needed and the recovery time is 8 weeks, getting the surgery now would ensure that he is fully healthy to pass a physical in FA. If he can't pass a physical in March, then he potentially misses out on the first wave of FA when the big money is available.
Im interested to see the D without him. Ive been down on Collins because hes been a serious liability as a pass defender and D-cos have obviously scheming to get him in coverage for two seasons and he hasnt managed to improve. But Ive also been saying he isnt really the force in the run game that hes credited as being. No ill will for Collins, but Im not sure the defense wont be better without him. Maybe thats a crazy statement; I guess well see.
