It's hard to catch the number of things that are impressive about it on just one or two rewatches so I cut it up into two
Some observations.
OL looked really sharp here, other than Pulley who got put face down on the turf. Brown was active and looking for someone to block, even Wheeler looked good.
Floyd gets taken out of the play by an alert Rhett Ellison block.
Danny Trevathan saw this play coming and really did his job well by setting the edge if Odell had actually tried to run the ball.
Khalil Mack might as well have been back on the bus for his impact on the play. I guess he was supposed to be in coverage but I don't know what he was doing.
That pass was thrown from the Giants 45 to the Bears 5 or 6 yard line and I really don't think he put all his arm in it.
Just a beautifully thrown football.
Correct. Beckham said the original target was to be Fowler but a defender sniffed it out, Fowler was double covered but R.Shepard was left uncovered. Credit to Beckham to scan the field while defenders were ready to clobber him and make that perfect pass downfield for the TD. Amazing.
They should do this every game or so.
RE: OL
Not sure this is the best play to evaluate the OL. The whole reverse thing had most of the DL confused. It's so much easier to block when they aren't pinning their ears back after Eli. Several of the defenders had no idea where to go. As mentioned, Wheeler looked good, but honestly what was he really asked to do? OL looked good, but they weren't exactly stressed.
On the topic of throwing it far, it was interesting to to see that Cam Newton could not throw the ball 45 yards for an end of game Hail Mary, and had to be replaced by the backup for the second attempt. If I were Carolina's GM I'd be wondering how much longer Newton has, because his arm looks shot.

I didn't see that. That is very surprising. Saw the guy throw at Chelsea Piers before his draft, and it was amazing how the ball exploded out of his hand. Never seen anything like it.
Maybe even something like our own version of the RPO....OBJ can either run it or chuck it based on what he sees. He obviously has the arm/touch/vision........
It's available through GamePass, if you have a subscription. You could also sign up for a trial.
Not sure if you can find the radio call of a single play online, would be a good question for Google though.
That was one Hell of a blind toss
Nearly every game it seems he does something amazing and bad. He will make the incredible 1 handed catch but drop the easy one right over the shoulder. I'm not mad about it. We have to take the bad with the good. Just reminds me of someone else.
Actually, what I think isn't getting much talk about OBJ is he is not acting a fool in game anymore. After his TD, he tossed the ball to the ref. That's all I saw him do after his TD. Is it because of Barkley?
It's in the Sights and Sounds video.

I have to think Barkley is in part the reason. He's a great role model for everyone on the team.
I loved the shimmy he did before the pass because it froze the LB, who was coming at him. By doing that shimmy, the LB stopped his forward movement, which allowed OBJ to fling the pass to R Shepherd. It was a beautiful thing.
