Washington signing BBI legend Josh Johnson...

Chris in Philly : 12/5/2018 10:04 am
to back up Sanchez. And this is officially the worst QB crew in the history of Western Civilization, including all of Fatman's fantasy yeams ever.

LOL
HoodieGelo : 12/5/2018 10:08 am : link
wasn't he JUST the #1 pick in the AAF? Boy oh boy...

Love how the Skins did the whole 'We considered Kap' dance. Enough already with that stuff.
Worst QBs in history? Nah
Greg from LI : 12/5/2018 10:16 am : link
The 1992 Seahawks QBs - Stan Gelbaugh, Dan McGwire, and Kelly Stouffer - might have something to say about that. Even the crappy Ray Handley Giants held them to 108 yards passing. Held under 100 yards in 7 games, under 200 in all but 2. 9 TDs to 23 INTs.

For billionaires, they sure don’t have a lot of balls, do they?

would think this only adds to Kaps case. The NFL is dumb.
They got the QB drafted #1 overall* this year, high five!

*(in a still not fully operational league full of NFL busts not likely to last 5 years)
is this the Washington Football Club?

Before we crap on owners.
prh : 12/5/2018 10:42 am : link
What are his salary and contract demands. Last year he wanted 9/10 million per year. Do teams have the cap space and desire to sign him to a multi-year deal?
It's not like he's destitute he has a very nice deal with Nike.
If the Giants lose to the skins with these 2 at QB
ZogZerg : 12/5/2018 10:43 am : link
It will make a shit season a real real shit show.

Possibly, but subjectively, I am rather certain it was more about the hoopla, than money. Plus, at this point in the season, his demands most likely came down

They don't want the media circus signing Kaep will come with. His value on the field while better then Sanchez and Johnson is not good enough to justify the media circus.

He might not want a 4 game tryout deal. Perhaps looking for a longer contract.
He also might have nixed playing for the "Redskins"

The 2012 Cardinals QBs were close to that Kevin Kolb, Brian Hoyer, John Skelton, Ryan Lindley - especially considering they had Larry Fitzgerald and were in a more prolific passing period. 3 games under 100, another 4 under 200 and one 300 yard performance. 11 TDs to 21 INTs.
I thought...

I'm sure they would have signed him otherwise.
The Skins just experienced a self inflicted shit storm
Jay on the Island : 12/5/2018 11:33 am : link
by claiming Reuben Foster. They could have countered the criticism by signing Kaepernick if they felt he could help the team. I am starting to believe that Kaepernick would rather remain unsigned and make more money as an activist than sitting on a bench making the league minimum.

I watched the Jet -Cardinal game where it was Sanchez VS Lindley.. it was the worst QB performance by both teams I have ever witnessed.
I'm in the playoffs..

The Joe Pisarcik and Jerry Goldsteyn combo would like to volunteer.

How these two managed to win 5 games in 1977 is beyond my comprehension.

He's not shown to be better than Josh Johnson and Mark Sanchez and Nathan Peterman?

No to Kap but yes to a woman-beating LB?

And what is this Washington "scheme" that so amicably fits Mark Sanchez who was just signed by the team 2 weeks ago and now somehow fits Josh Johnson?

BTW, given the bad luck Washington QB's have had this season, what are the chances Johnson plays THIS Sunday?
