Wall stuff is complete nonsense - trades of that significance will only be explored after the smoke clears on free agency (if the Knicks strike out). That's the proper course of action.

Hahn agrees KD isn't leaving Golden State to join another superteam - KD and his people know one championship at the Garden raises his status in the game to all-time great levels, but the Knicks have to do their part and show some signs of life with these young players.

Look really good. Lebron is just unbelievable. The team is 15-9 and he's playing out of his mind. And it's not like the young guys have made any big jumps.

It was never clear if it was possible, but if it was, the Lakers screwed up big time not trading Ingram for Leonard. I know he's still young, but I just don't see him becoming an all star player.

I wish Lebron got another chance against this warriors team with a squad that had a chance. 2016 was really the only year teams were close in talent....

the real deadline is essentially tonight's game. If they didn't add him to the active roster yesterday all that means is he reverts back to the d-league today, so they will have to call him up before tonight's game making today really the deadline if they want to get him active today.

Where is this Kawhi to NY talk coming from? I haven't seen or heard that anywhere.

you can either get Zion or KD this summer (on a 2+1 deal). Who do you choose?

Not true. Cavs would have beaten them in 2015 during the pre-KD era with a healthy Kyrie and Love. IMO.

but he certainly doesn't need to win here to be elevated to all-time great status. He'll be in the hall of fame as it is, and if Lebron doesn't exist, we're talking about KD as the best player in the NBA right now.

if the Knicks are unable to find trade partners for the players that they are willing to trade at this point in time. In my opinion, players like Lee and THjr are good but their contracts make them a net negative. I would assume that other teams are asking the Knicks to attach picks which they are likely unwilling to do. Of course this is all just wild speculation.

If it's true though and assuming that the Knicks don't want to cut anybody, maybe for depth in case of injury, I wouldn't mind if Trier had to go down to the G-League for the moment. Knicks still have the rest of the season to figure out a way to sign him and it should force Frank back into the rotation.

First, his contract is toxic waste. Second, he looks like a guy who has mentally checked out of any focus on his career. And the complete unraveling of his team has to fall on him as the franchise player.

Why would that be a thing to trade for?

My point exactly. In 2015 the Cavs were missing Irving and Love and therefore not close in talent.

Vernon Carey Jr. committed to Duke...and I feel old. I remember Vernon Carey Sr. as an OT at the U. He was in the same draft class as Eli!!!

His story today has the Knicks record at 7-18, rather than 8-17. As a pro-tanker, I take great offense to such things.
