FF thread: 12/07/18 - Derrick Henry Thread

One of the other teams not in my playoff game had him on the bench. Ouch. 52 points. He did start “better “ RBs this week.

He finished with only 47.8 points

But, because Henry sucked all year the guy in the "consolation" bracket so it didn't really matter.

In the league I am in the owner started Henry, but she was by far in the consolation bracket. I am relaxing this week as my team is on a bye (useful given how banged up my team is)

Nobody saw that coming. He is on my opponents bench this week and all night that guy was whining on the league group text.

Everyone was telling him to quit bitching, he is starting Saquon, Zeke and Tarik Cohen. Nobody was benching one of them for Henry this week.

The idiots on ESPN Fantasy Live projected him with 6 carries for 30+ yards and a TD.

He'd look like a genius now if he did though...

Leonard Fournette - 3 chances from the 1. Nada.
Corey Davis - drops a TD. Would had a 60 yarder if not for blatant PI
Jayron Brown - inches away from 4 sacks and dropped INT

Unless you have really deep benches.. I typically play with only 4 bench spots, 5 in a league with IDP.. and in none of my leagues does anyone even have Henry.. My first half of the year sucked because of him.. I dropped him and now I am fighting for a playoff spot this weekend.. Dude is useless. That said.. I will be bidding for him..

Bills have been tough on TEs lately and not sure what we're getting from Ellison/Engram this week with Evan back. Can you drop Ellison for some one else? Matt Lacosse (allstarjim's boy) or someone like that?

I don't want to get too cute in playoff round 1, but there are some enticing matchups. Currently I have Chubb and Ingram in the starting RB spots (with Amari Cooper also starting over these remaining RBs in the flex spot).

I'd probably stick with who you have in there. I have Ingram playing too, great matchup as Tampa's D is awful, and Saints will look to get Ingram going again.
Cohen is a safe play too.

I am having trouble setting my lineup at some spots:

Def: Hou or Pitt (I like Pitt vs. Oak, although it is in Oak.)
Flex: Miller or Mack (Leaning Miller as he has been hot)
WR: Hilton has been on injury list, son't have many other options though, Golladay?)
TE: Brate or Engram

I always get screwed with these Thursday night games .Either starting guys or not starting guys .Its been like that for years for my fantasy teams

So for Week 15 I could go:

Atl vs Ari

For my flex I have the option of Mack or Golden Tate (@ DAL). Would you go Mack and go with 4 colts or Tate?

A sneakier add might be Kelvin Benjamin, of course he doesn't play TE, but he signed with the Chiefs and he's a big red zone target on a potent offense.
