more often. Too many of them now. We'll watch on occasion when there's not too much on the TV worth watching.
I've seen some weird stuff on these shows that do not make sense. TAPS in St. Augustine and the Lighthouse comes to mind.
I personally have been affected by "spirits" while working on the Battleship North Carolina and while in Mombosa, Kenya of all places. To me there has to be more than just this life.......
....way back when. It was good early on then got stupid - the primary medium Derek Acorah was outed by his own crew for being a fraud when he ran with a phony name/story that they made sure he eaves dropped on (it was actually and anagram for Derek Faker). I liked it more for the back stories on the locations.
Also Paranormal State since it was a lot of places I was familiar with. The kid who led the crew ended up being a train wreck - drugs, fraud, faking a cancer diagnosis....
from the TAPS group. We’re thry ever suspected of any fraud/faking? I figured as many things as they debunked, they may have tried to be legit. I do find myself being a bit skeptical if all the so-called technology used on these shows.
A month or so back, Mrs. Beez went to one of those “psychic fair” events and she met a childhood neighborhood friend who “investigated paranormal activity” in people’s homes. My wife described all sorts of “technology” they had. We talked about having them in. Just haven’t pulled the trigger yet.
Has written several books and goes out "ghost hunting" all over the place... his group is called "the Ghosts of Ohio".
I have spoken to him several times about what he has found and hasn't found... He admits of course that he has no hard proof... He does however have a TON of evidence of "stuff" that he just cannot explain...
I do know this... I have known this person my entire life... I love him like a brother and respect the hell out of him.. If he says he found something weird and un-explainable, he did.
Just when I feel a twinge of sympathy for you, you dump this out there. That show and that over fake acting are total shit. I'm interested in all things paranormal with a healthy dose of skepticism and these clowns are nothing more than a flea circus with cameras. You suck again.

Yeah. Lots of things can be explained away. But for all that, there seems to be a shit-ton of things that can’t.

I had a unique experience at the St. Augustine lighthouse. I live in the area, and used to climb to the top with regularity. You can climb it during the winter any time of day, but if you want to survive in the summer, you have to do it early in the morning. It is like an oven in there during the summer.
I was there when they first opened up for the day. The lighthouse will have a volunteer at the top to answer questions and for assistance. The ascent is a series of spiral steps with landings spaced through out. I began my ascent with nothing to note other than the silence and echo of my foot-fall. Got half-way and was admiring the view out the windows on the landing. I then heard a muffled laughing/giggling. Looked down on the grounds expecting to see children playing in the grass, but nobody was around. Proceeded to climb the next stage, and I heard the muffled giggling again coming from above me. I looked up over the railing expecting to see some kids playing their own version of hide/seek, but nothing but silence. So I began my ascent again more cautious trying to be as quiet as possible. Again - a distant, muffled giggle. I continued to the top, and no one was there (except for the volunteer). One of those moments that you know what you heard and weren't crazy imagining it. The back-story is that while the current lighthouse was being built, the lightstation's family had 2 girls. There was a trolley rail car system that was used to transport the bricks from Salt Run to the construction site. The girls used the trolley car to play on and had drowned after a tragic accident.
I watched once with her about a haunted bowling alley. They were out front in the lanes filming when an enormous clatter came from the back of the lanes/pits. They went running to the back with the cameras running, and there was a guy back there cracking-up because he saw what was going on and decided to bang on the pipes to spook them. I was thinking, that would be me.
and it's off-topic but I still watch the Curse of Oak Island. I know that there is a 99.99999% chance that nothing is there but I can't stop watching and hoping that they find something. They keep you hooked by finding small artifacts deep under ground that have no business being there.

I love that show. They find crap but I like the brothers a lot, and I realized they aren't actually treasure hunting, they are building a brand. Marty is a very rich man with a lot of business interests so this looks like another smart money maker while letting his brother chase a dream.
since I was a kid, so these types of programs have always interested me.
It really wasn't that long ago when there was some sort of ghost show on tv 6 nights a week. At the time my daughter was quite young and she too got into it; so we kind of had a daddy/daughter bonding thing going for awhile.
Ghost Adventures was always my favorite, but as Big Blue Cane mentioned above, the show changed when Nick left. TBH, I think I now watch it more because of habit than interest. While it is still interesting, it's become kind of predictable. Sometime tonight Zak is going to get extremely angry because he gets possessed...Aaron gonna scream "Oh my God, dude at least a half dozen times...and there's a good chance Jay or the other guy will scream or weep.
the Show paranormal witness mainly because it cover a lot of stories besides just ghost. In addition this past summer I watch these woods are haunted and each episode included the evidence collected by the people that experienced it and it was very interesting.
As far as ghost adventures I enjoy the show at times and the way they will hang out in a pitch black room all alone in the deepest and scariest places imaginable I will give them credit for I don't think I could do it. However, I cant stand Zack and the crew seems to act so crazy at times that it makes you think they are putting on a show and makes me question their legitimacy or if anything they capture is real.
In my opinion is the most interesting boring show on TV they literally never find anything but you cant miss a episode because just in case they find something. I am convinced their was something there maybe not a massive treasure but I think they will find enough evidence that they can rewrite the history books of when Europeans where in North America
The problem is with Zack's phobia of flying, they're very limited to where they can visit and go, so they've been trending in the demonic possession/sensationalism style.
that i had on the background. I cannot watch his stuff right now, because it's very hard on me. He as one of my favorite TV personalities and now my show of choice to have on the background is Ghost Adventures. I have my PC hooked up to my TV and I am usually doing something else and that's why I have a background show.

Marty Lagina is a very rich man. Prior to the show he was worth $100 million. He created sold his old energy company for close to 60 million. He now owns a vineyard, launched a new wind turbine energy company, and his is a producer for the show. They also own most of Oak Island and make money off of tours. I think Marty is in it mostly for his brother. Rick has been obsessed with Oak Island all of his life and they are obviously very close. You can tell how much Marty admires his brother and he doesn't hesitate spending millions to search for answers on Oak Island.
is the money that Marty and Rick make per episode from the History Channel. A little known fact is that they each receive 150,000 dollars per episode and there are THIRTY episodes this year. Having said that, I love watching the brothers and I do like the show but hate the constant rehashing of everything from the Knight's Templar to the Arc of the Covenant. I also detest the announcer and have decided this year to tape the show and just watch the last fifteen minutes. Also, can the one nephew please change his green Under Armor shirt????? Does he ever wear anything else? :)
Ghost Adventures because I have no way of knowing if some of these events are faked. However I did experience something paranormal last April That got my ass put in the hospital!

yeah you cant just make a statement like that and just leave it at that
any of these shows in a while but I always found it funny when the one guy got all "Come at me bro!" with the "ghosts." I could never tell if he was acting or just reacting to an uncomfortable situation. Whether the ghosts are real or not, these guys go to some creepy places. His fight or flight reaction was to fight but you obviously can't beat-up a ghost.

I read that they use all the money that they make from the show to fund the search. That isn't a nephew that's Craig Tester's stepson Jack Begley and yes he wears the same shirt every episode. Dude you're on tv at least buy a few different shirts. Marty almost always wears his Mari Vineyards polo shirt but at least he is advertising his vineyard. I can't stand the narrator. He basically just repeats everything they said as if it proves a crazy theory.

But apparently Zack doesn't like flying for whatever reason so they're unlikely to go overseas again.
I am slightly surprised more people haven't gone to the places they've featured for kicks myself.
Of course, we never miss it.
