Forgot which thread we were lightly bantering in last night, but wanted to tip the cap and say nice win to your Orange.
Hell of a comeback. First half was too good to be true. You just knew that game would be tied again at some point.
Was a good game. Cheers.
Still fucking hate you.
My cousin is a former cheerleader for Georgetown so I'm not a total hater. Funny, my other cousin, her sister, went to Cuse. So we've had some good times over the years dating back to the early 80's.
I hate you too, btw. Yer mother's a Hoya.

They did grad studies at Princeton and post doctoral at Oxford. Waaaaay out of your league Counselor.
It was G-Town to Oxford, dopey. It's not NYU part time night school but it's close I guess. (my dad went to NYU, btw)
I think Pat has done a ridiculous job in recruiting. There’s so much in-game sloppiness that I hate. For now, I definitely give the benefit of the doubt based on the youth. But I do have an underlying fear that it’ll be years of awesome recruiting and shitty in-game stuff.
But I still think that ends up in a better product than what we were getting from JT3 for the last 10 years.
As for Cuse - with 2 young kids and a third in the oven, I don’t have much time to know a lot about anybody but my own...just based on today, I’d say this is a far cry from the top end talent Cuse squads I’ve seen, but tons of length and athleticism. Those athletes in that zone can turn any game into a 100-point staring contest even against teams with more talent.

How does that happen!?!?

Did he play with Ramses Barden's father?

Haha. What?
Off topic, but how goes the legal career, my friend? Hope you're doing well.

Ramses Barden's father Al played in the 1960 Final Four with New York University.
I'll email you. Address still the same?
I WISH I could resurrect that post and read it again.
My wife and I still laugh about it 16 years later!

First of all, congrats to your family. Always great to have another Giants fan in the family!
Agree on Patrick. He's a new coach. It'll take some time. I'm curious how his pedigree translates to coaching young men at a high profile program. The jury is still out at a world class law school.
I'll disagree on your notion regarding Cuse and their talent. I think this is their best team in years - easily eclipsing the transfer team that beat Duke but didn't make the tourney. They've got scorers, defenders and plenty of athletes to work the zone. They've got two pillars in the middle and their length up top is absurd. Foul trouble - oddly enough in the zone - is the big question.
This is a team that has the potential to make serious noise in a Tournament setting. They just have to get there.
Albania
Albania
You border on the Adriatic
Your land is mostly mountainous
And your chief export is chrome!

Thanks, brother. We’re excited.
I didn’t realize that this Cuse team was that highly thought of...my opinion my informed solely by what I saw yesterday...the awful first half clearly not a good sample.
He looks like he's morphing into Jabba the Hut with that cranium!
