It is crazy the Giants have scored the most points in the NFC East this year. The defense is the worst and we give the offense most of the blame. Really is a missed opportunity this year to make the playoffs. The other issue is we have not won a single game in our division.
We have the same schedule as the other teams do, aside from a few. And the Giants faced the #1 defense, and not the Lions, Packers or Vikings defenses (MIN has s good crew but not as good as CHI).
and a DEF
Texans or Giants or Cardinals
Don't take the cheese. We were getting run on with Snacks in the middle. Look at the Saints game. Apple was given a clean slate, but a short leash. No problem with either of the trades. It is a shame that we couldn't find any buyers for OV or Collins.
Dallas scored 13 last week and won.
Defense matters.
All the teams in our division have pretty good lines on both sides of the ball. The Giants certainly have the worst OL and probably the worst DL. Easy enough to understand.
And some of those TDs were garbage time points
The Giants defense struggling in a new system, with no depth in the secondary, and then moving away from 2 starters voluntarily, should be no surprise.
But the biggest factor is the outright astonishingly good health the Giants offense has had. That's a major part in the progress they've been able to make.
