The other killers in that game were:
Brady taking a sack at the end of the first half when the Pats were 3rd and goal from the 3yd line. And they had no timeouts. So the didn't get the chip shot FG.
And when the Pats scored their first TD, Gastowski missed an extra point.
but let's be honest - the Pats just never lose games like that. And a detail like Gronk on the field when it's presumably too far for a Hail Mary is a head scratcher. Has that end of an era feel to it.
pretty amazing, but yeah what was Gronk even doing on the field? I suppose it was for "hail mary" defensive purposes, but it sure didn't work out that way.
