He deserves the chance to end his career as the Giants all time leader at QB.
Although his skills have diminished at 38 years old, given good protection by the OL he can still get it done.
It will be interesting to see how DG goes forward in replacing Eli. Will it be through the draft or free agency.
The only time you see his backup is when you want to see what his backup is capable of, tough as nails.
Give him some time and he can still make the plays, party on Eli !
RE: RE: I have noticed Eli getting in on some of the celebrations Â
more than he has in the past. I remember one of the highlight reels showing Eli doing an air bump with OBJ. Don't remember ever seeing that before.
IIRC, that was after Beckham's TD pass.
Thanks. That's the one. It makes it even better that this was the play he did that. Probably why the air bump stood out to me so much. I wonder if Eli gave him tips while they practiced that.
to have had his football career and resume shit on by a bunch of talking heads, the clueless former head coach and a good number of people within his own fanbase.
And before the vultures swoop in, I understand the team is 5-8, I understand they're not going to the playoffs barring a miracle, and I understand his time is running out and he's not the player he was.
But to come back from the dead after 1-7, playing good football, winning games and if nothing else proving once again he is a leader, has the heart of a champion, and will never quit. It's great to watch and I'm very happy for him.
I would love to see this team get to 8-8 playoffs or no playoffs.

Lol. Thank God you're not running the team. I love Eli, but this is ridiculous.
