Even our man Papa got in on the act by playing the replay going into the break on Sirius, "now, let's hear it one more time, in the words of the Patriot radio broadcast team". Incidentally, Charlie Weis is his co-host on Monday mornings.

Last night the Sirius sports update guy followed the audio with "Patriots broadcaster Scott Zolak with a religious revelation...".

If you are a Zolak hater, it was a nice moment, and continues to deliver.

Why was Gronk out there for that play? There was no way they were attempting a hailmary from their own 30.

Even the players today were admitting they knew a Hail Mary wasn't gonna be thrown it was too far away. Everyone in the press in Boston is talking about "why was Gronk out there".

Radio guys can't just sit in stunned silence for that much time. People wanted additional explanation of what just happened. They eventually get to it but after way too much dead air.

played the clip on Sirius this morning before going to commercial break ha ha ha. Excellent. Too bad the team probably makes the Super Bowl and very likely could win it.

to have Gronk in there. But you also need to question the effort of some of the Patriots players. Many were watching and lightly jogging 10-20 yards behind the play, particularly #31 who really gave up. With multiple laterals you certainly have the chance to get back in the play.
