Is slowing down. This kid is so special he is making everyone around him better. I pray he stays healthy throughout his career, if he does I may have seen the best Giant Defensive player to ever play in LT and the best offensive player to ever play in Barkley.
If you remember the first game of the season against the Jags, Barkley had a run very similar, when he used his left hand to throw the defensive guy down on the ground, and continued to bounce it outside.
but I had no idea they would be so bad.....how in the world did this guy ever get over 1000 yards?....and he still has 3 games to play? It's quite possible, if we drafted a QB, who probably would never have played, we just might be winless....SOB! We could have had the #1 pick next year!
Thank you Saquon, for making it fun to watch Giant games again...
While the POA is a mess that play, and Norman was unblocked waiting for SB in the cutback lane, Evan Engram blocked the shit out of Ryan Kerrigan on the back side, and that's where Saquon went. Took Kertigan 1st one way, then stayed with him like white on rice while the play and Kerrigan reverse field, and rides Kerrigan about 10 yards off the LOS finally.
That's an apeshit of a block and effort right there by Engram.
Are you seeing where the blocking is coming from? The tight ends, including Engram, the WRs, Penny... Will Hernandez had a combo block on Barkley's 78 yard TD, the likes if which I haven't seen since Chris Snee was at the top of his game. He ended up taking out at least 2.5 guys with that block - the 1/2 guy is a third defender who can't get around WH and the LB he demolishes as his 2nd block. Hernandez had great feet on that play.
I was praying for our Giants to get Barkley since his 2016 season.
So you can blame last year's disaster season on me...
But's he's surprised me with his vision and decisiveness. He's better than he was in college, unbelievably. Less juking IMO. Man what a player. As others have said, first LT, then OBJ, now Barkley. Were catching the all time best of the Gmen in our lifetime.

Lordy DG, just build him (and Eli) an OL.
So true. We’re blessed to get to see these greats play. And what a difference this patchwork OL has made these past few weeks... imagine what it would be like behind an all pro OL!
in one of the first few drives. Eli almost got killed.
Penny blocked the same guy as the lineman instead of the one he should have gotten. Hope he improves on that. The heavy run sets seem to be the missing ingredient to get this offense clicking.
I'm overstating his position: he said that if the Giants were to finish 8-8, Barkley at least would likely deserve MVP mention/status, not that he should actually win it. As the guy most instrumental in taking a bad team to a non-losing record, why not?
Look to see if someone missed a block but it was possibly more just a numbers game.
Good!
Lol agreed. I still hate Norman years after the Odell debacle. In my opinion he has always been extremely overrated.

What's up old buddy?
Hey Lou! Glad to hear from you... Hope you are doing well!

Good point, too.
Barkley is a highlight reel...
BTW, Shepard's block on Swearinger on the 78 yard TD was a thing of beauty.

Barkley for MVP.
