With Seattle's win tonight, the Giants can only make the playoffs now as a 6th seed. But the path is easier with Minnesota's loss. Here's how they get in.
1. Win TEN, @ IND, DAL
2. WAS/PHI Week 17 winner loses TWO while the loser of that game loses ONE.
-WAS plays @ JAX, @ TEN
-PHI plays @ LAR, HOU
3. CAR loses TWO from NO, ATL, @ ATL
4. MIN loses TWO from MIA, @ DET, CHI
5. GB loses ONE from @ CHI, @ NYJ, DET
6. TB loses ONE from @ BAL, @ DAL, ATL OR DET loses ONE from @ BUF, MIN, @ GB
After being 1-7, the fact that we have a meaningful game on 12/16 is amazing.
Correct but if PHI and WAS both win, NYG would need a PHI/WAS tie Week 17
Agree. But look at how bad they played tonight, hopefully wheels fall off. Another problem is the bears may not be playing for anything week 17 with NO and Rams up 2 games on them..
Except that we know when the game gets big, Cousins comes up small.
Would be quite the story...
Barkley alone would have teams scared.

Yup.
I don't like the "wait until next year" stuff. We went through this in 2016. When you're hot, you're hot, and right now, the Giants are hot at the perfect time. It's too bad, but I'm not giving up yet.
Rolling a 1 or a 2 on a die is realistic. Doing it 6 times in a row, not so much.
Either way... it'll take more than a miracle to get it done, but if somehow everything goes perfect next week, we can be 0.5 out with two to play :)
Then there's the Titans game, that one is gonna be a toss up cause the Titans are still fighting for a playoff spot as well.
