In January 2018, Briles became the new assistant head coach, offensive coordinator, and quarterbacks coach at his alma mater, the University of Houston where he promptly left after being offered more money, because doesn’t care about his alma mater and he doesn’t have a soul

Son. Was at Baylor when everything happened. Which is why i'm leary, theres no shot he had no clue what was going on.
being reported for Temple is TAMU DC Mike Elko, who has a lot of East Coast roots. He's from NJ, went to UPenn, and coached at a bunch of colleges in the NY area in the past.
and they will do anything to accomplish that goal. One needs only to look back a few years to see proof of that.
Miami OTOH, looks likely to continue to de-emphasis its athletic past and accomplishments. Somewhat frustrating and depressing but given what other schools are willing to do and the money that they are willing to spend, its probably the only long-term option they have.

Controversy
According to a lawsuit filed in January 2017, a Baylor graduate alleges she was gang raped by two football players in 2013. In addition, allegedly more than 50 instances of rape, committed by 31 football players, occurred between 2011 and 2014. The lawsuit alleges Kendal Briles, former Baylor assistant coach, encouraged these actions and once asked a Dallas potential recruit: "Do you like white women? Because we have a lot of them at Baylor and they love football players."
