and I heard him say so after the game. He said he wished he could have found a way to score.
At the 4-5 second mark of this video, he starts to cut back to the middle. At that moment, #20 turns his hips and his head. Right there, if Barkley cuts back again to the outside... he runs into the end zone. No way #20 would be able to recover in time.
It really is a lot of fun watching him run.

Further, as LT changed the mindset of those Giants, so too is Barkley changing the mindset of this team. I don't think it is any coincidence that the OL is playing better because the mindset of the coaching staff changed during the bye week and the decision was made to run the ball and we have seen the results.
I keep hearing Tuna in my head saying "Let's not put him in Canton yet" but my goodness what a treat he is to watch. Now, let's build around him...make the OL an absolute beast. Keep Eli for two more years...no question he can continue to play as long as we follow this formula and maybe every now and then he can win one with his arm for us.
But Barkley is simply the best damn football player I have seen since 1981. Like Taylor on D, he can do everything you want on offense. I'm getting goosebumps just talking about what is to come.

Hard to imagine the guy (400+ bench) can get even stronger, but he will.
