Penn tops 'Nova for the first time since 2002. Love some Palestra college hoops. Great game and both teams play a nice style. 'Nova is obviously re-loading after graduating a bunch of players. But credit to Penn, 'Nova came in ranked #17.
We fall back out of the top 25 again. I understand it’s a rebuild year and a very good class is expected next fall, but come on. I get losing to Michigan but Furman at home? Penn?
with some big wins this year already and only loses to two ranked teams. Would love to see my alma mater win the Ivy League this year. Thank you for the original post.

There's no shame in losing a Big 5 game at the Palestra...

Furman is legit. They are a very very good team. They are experienced and shoot the ball well. They will make the tournmanet irregardless if they win their league.
"Irregardless"??? Seriously? Aren't you a teacher?? Â
but the "spoilers inside" is a bit redundant on a thread started about a Penn-Nova game. Any time a thread like that is started, it's likely because Penn won.
is that Jahvon Quinerly, a 5-star McDonald's AA, posted the below on instagram. He was originally committed to Arizona until he was implicated in the Adidas payola fiasco. He then committed to Nova where he has barely played, reportedly due to inconsistent effort and defense. He has fantastic offensive talent and my school was high on him, but now it seems like he has some attitude issues so perhaps losing out on him was a blessing in disguise.
If Quinerly had shown one shred of being able to compete.... Â
at a major college level, I’d give him a pass. But he hasn’t. How this kid was a five star recruit is beyond me. He’s physically overwhelmed in every matchup he faces and can’t get by anyone. I’d be totally fine with him transferring. How does a kid come into a program that has won two National Championships in three year and figure he can give minimal effort and then expect to play? He’s shown nothing except an inability to earn any playing time.
Class of 1983.

What? It's a word.

It is a word, but the "ir" is redundant and you could have simply said "regardless" in your sentence and it would have meant the same thing.
I agree - he should of wrote proper English :O
