This may have been covered in a previous post.. Why did Beckham not make the trip to Washington? Seems like he would want to be there for support if nothing else.
a trade with his agent. Plus he's a selfish guy. Not only did he have a quad injury but he refused to drink water in protest of taking a train to DC. OBJ only flies on jets.

yeah...and there was also talk that he went in the event that he had an opportunity to spear Josh Norman during warmups.

Is that 5-7 hours on a train and several standing in the cold won't get a bruise to respond the way you want. Also I don't think it's a bruise, I think it's a tear causing a bruise and not just sore from a knock on his leg.

Slefrak did confirm that he was walking badly, so you're probably right.

If true, is he done for the year? What specific play did this happen on?

I am guessing based on playing in a game then practicing all week and it not healing. That says tear to me. He probably had an MRI to confirm and they didn't let him travel. It's probably about long term risk to the muscle but I don't know if we see him again this year. It sounds like they will play cat and mouse wihth the opponents and my guess is he's a question mark each week and doesn't suit up until next season. Again totally speculating based on him playing with this thing vs the Bears then being a scratch a day before a game. That says they found something to me.
Updating a previous item, Odell Beckham (quad) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
Coach Pat Shurmur said himself before practice that Beckham wasn't going to participate, but OBJ did individual drills and looked to be his normal energetic self. It would be a big surprise if Beckham didn't play this week.

I would love to be dead wrong, it feels different when he doesn't play.

I think 13 will be out there on Sunday. If he's not, he's got a significant injury - because that's the only thing that is going to keep him off the field. I'm sure he's dying to get back out there and find a way to keep this thing going. Especially after seeing Saquon absolutely demolish the Redskins.

I think him even being limited should remove any doubt of a tear...which is good. They aren’t allowing him to run around at all if he has some sort of tear, IMO.

Or whack him with a bat.

It is a 2.5 to 3 hour train ride.

He would. By plane.

Different in a good way or bad way?

There's at least something to this, but it seems extreme.
