Sad to hear about his passing at just 48. I don’t have a link but was just reading that he was found in his apartment north of Indianapolis on Sunday. Apparently he had been sick. First indication is that it was some kind of cardiac issue.
I hate reading it for personal reasons too. And one of my first sport training jobs south of Indianapolis, I got to cover a lot of Indiana University basketball in the early 1990s, then I got to cover the Pacers as well when Anderson was on the Knicks.
(Cool story bro! alert) Brush with fame: Before a Knicks-Pacers game at Market Square Arena in 1992, sat at the same table, ate dinner and chatted with Clyde and Anderson in the Pacers media center.
Anderson was a low-key, really nice dude back then.
Far too young.
