08/10/18: Saquon vs Browns: Too much hype for one run?

He won't be able to do what he did in college! All the great ones were once college players.

Kept saying the same thing about giants fans hyping him up too much based off of one run in the preseason... he apologized publicly and took back what he said.

That one run just showed his skill but 99% of the hype was from his abilities and his play in college.

is Skip Bayless an idiot. I don't ever really see him (thankfully) but wouldn't it be great if these guys got called on on this shit every now and then? Sure, we've all been wrong about players and prospects buy what other profession can you be so completely wrong and arrogant about something and not be called out on it?

Only the very very dim thought that. 30 seconds of watching them on any high or low light would demonstrate how superior physically Saquon is. All of those comparisons were people being intentionally contrarian in hopes of being able to say I told you so because they have no ability to discern talent.

I simply can't believe what I see with this kid. Rabbit quickness and speed.

He's a LOT like Gale Sayers was - but with excellent skills as a receiver to boot.

I've watched football for over 40 years now - never seen anything like this kid outside of Tecmo Bowl Bo Jackson. :)

but one thing I got to give the guy is he wont back down when the athletes show up on his show like you see from most of the talking heads on these types of shows.
