Hey guys,
So I made the semis in both my leagues and really need y'all's help (especially with all the questionable running backs in tonight's game). I have two questions for you guys, one question for each league. *Note that both leagues are Non-PPR*
League #1: Out of the following pick 2 RBs and 1 Flex (so 3 total):
James White @ PIT
Melvin Gordon @ KC
Justin Jackson @ KC
Kenyan Drake @ MIN
Damien Williams v. LAC
Doug Baldwin @ SF
League #2: Out of the following pick 1 RB and 2 Flex (so 3 total):
Mike Evans @ BAL
Robert Woods v. PHI
Chris Carson @ SF
James White @ PIT
Julian Edelman @ PIT
Justin Jackson @ KC
Jeff Wilson Jr. v. SEA
Damien Williams v. LAC
In League #1: I'm honestly thinking of playing both Gordon (likely limited) and Justin Jackson if both suit up so as to get all the LAC RB points against that KC defense (hoping it's a massive shootout), and then going White in the flex, but would that just be crazy? .... In League #2 I'm thinking Carson, Woods, and Jeff Wilson (if Breida is out), although that will feel weird to sit Evans in a semifinal game. I have McCaffrey, Thielen, and Michael Thomas in league #2 already going so I'm leaning Jeff Wilson because of his high floor. But honestly I am stumped on both of these and that's why I am all ears for advice here.
Is anyone else tempted to play Damien Williams if he's the lead back for KC tonight?? It's likely going to be a shootout and they also went to him twice on the goal line last week.
Thanks so much as always BBI brethren.
In league #1, I like the idea of locking up the Chargers RBs reguardless of who plays between Gordon and Jackson.
In league #2, hard to bench Mike Evans. You'd be kicking yourself if he goes off. You also should shart Carson. For the other flex, if Breida is out, go with Wilson Jr. If not, go with Woods.
Good Luck!
Drake
Williams
League 2
Carson
Edelman
Woods
For league 2, Williams and Carson for sure and a toss up between Woods/Edelman for the other spot. Given that's it's non-PPR, I could consider Jackson over the WRs if Gordon is out.
you didn't ask, but I would play Williams over Gus Edwards.
Jeffrey at La Rams
I know Evans is a vastly superior player and wentz is out. But Jeffrey and Foles had a good thing last year and Baltimore will eat the clock and limit TBs possessions and have a great defense.
If the Saints were playing at home, Brees should get your starting nod. Although since he's on the road at Carolina, I'd favor Ben. Plus if Juju does score, at least you'd keep pace with Ben getting points off those TDs too.

I'd stick with Evans, as he's cleared 86+ yards in 3 of his last 4 games and should put up solid totals against the Ravens.
While Jeffery, regardless of QB, has been at 50 or less yards in last 6 games.
Also....in my one league, we have two starting QB's.
Of these three, who would recommend: (My thoughts are in order)
Jared Goff vs. Philly
Philip Rivers vs. KC
Deshaun Watson vs. the Jets.
Thanks, guys! Good Luck.

My opponent has JJ Smith-Shuster as his WR1. Should that consideration favor Roethlisberger over Brees in my decision-making process?

I agree. You go with the better matchup as no guarantee TD passes go to Smith-Schuster

I agree with your order as Watson is quite boom or bust and I think Goff will want to be on top of his game to close the season. Though selfishly I hope he struggles except throwing to Cooks because my opponent has him and Gurley.
Running Back, pick 2
David Johnson - Has not practiced with quadriceps injury. If he plays, Atlanta has allowed the most receptions by RBs in the entire NFL this year.
Melvin Gordon - Ekeler is out. Has the MCL injury healed fully or is this another AJ Green type situation where Gordon comes back too early and gets knocked out of the game early and you lose that production.
Tarik Cohen - My most consistent RB in this PPR league and a sure start this week. So decision should come down to DJ or Gordon?
Tight End, pick 1
David Njoku - Hasn't looked fully healthy and has been in a bit of a cold spell since facing the Steelers in week 8. Prior to that, he was a Top 10 scoring TE in fantasy. Broncos have allowed a ton of yards to TEs in recent games, so this could be a nice bounce back situation.
Anthony Firkser - I just picked him off waivers. Decent success in a limited role, with 3+ receptions in 4 straight games and 40+ yards in 3 of them. Plus with Jonnu Smith being placed on IR, Firkser should see an uptick in targets.
Who would you guys pick at RB and TE?

For my flex this week, would you go with Ware or Sony Michel?
For my flex this week, would you go with Ware or Sony Michel?
Ware is most likely out tonight.
Right now I have Davis, Samuel, and Baldwin (pending) penciled in to WR slots
Doug Baldwin @ SF
Golden Tate @ LAR
Sterling Shepherd vs. TEN
Corey Davis @ NYG
Chris Godwin @ BAL
Curtis Samuel vs. NO
Dede Westbrook vs. WSH
David Moore @ SF
Peyton Barber @ BAL
Kenneth Dixon vs. TB
Flex play
Damian Williams
Lockett
Josh Adam's
Pick 3
Gordon...will he play/be effective?
Cohen
White
Carson
D. Williams
Breida
Also, would you gamble on Gordon if he plays?? Or stay with Mixon as your RB 2??
I'd go Williams, and you should put him in one of your RB slots (and move that RB to flex) in case something happens to one of your RBs.

question in a PPR league. Do I flex with Williams or with Josh Gordon (@ Steelers)?

Evans or Jeffrey?
Derek Carr
Josh Allen
Eli’s a FA....Keemun, Foles? The pickings are slim.
Also at RB/FLEX pick 2
Melvin Gordon
Nick Chub
Leonard Fornette
I have McCaffrey starting in one RB spot.

Evans. I don't love Jeffrey's matchup either, and who knows how they do with Foles this week. At least you know Evans will get his targets from Jameis.

I think Allen has a higher floor thanks to the rushing, and Carr has a higher ceiling.
for the 2nd, I'd go Chubb and Fournette regardless of Gordon's status. If Gordon is this iffy still, no way he's at full strength for tonight and the downside is just too much to trust him over your other options.
Jaylen Samuels vs NE
Sony Michel @ Pitt
Ingram @Carolina
Ware vs SD if he plays or
Williams vs SD if Ware is out

I'd rank them (assuming Ware is out)
Michel
Williams
Samuels (assuming Conner is out)
Ingram
In league #2 I can't believe I could end up playing Damien Williams and Justin Jackson over possibly Evans, Woods, Carson, Edelman, White, (depending on which one I plug into the last flex 4 of those five will be on the bench. That just feels odd but I guess you gotta roll with the punches.
Drake

League 2
Carson
Edelman

dep,
Does your opinion for league 2 still hold if Williams starts tonight and Melvin Gordon is declared OUT?
Thanks
Has there been any word on Connor?
Currently have to decide between Ware & Connor/Samuels... Who would ya start?
Also - Defense
Jets vs Houston (Jets D put up 10+ last two weeks)
Cincy vs Oak
GB @ Chicago
