gonna be great to watch his career. Hopefully we can put together the rest of the pieces to be competitive during this run. Would be nice to have a stretch of dominance like the eagles had in the early 00s
stop those stupid quick passes behind the LOS, where he usually has to make one guy miss before the cavalry arrives.....
Just make him run old Jason Whitten patterns....run right at the LBer, and break to whichever side the LBer is not on....the LBer can't keep up with him....

The sideline is a would be tacklers best friend, otherwise SB is untackalable.
Do what Panthers do with CMack, angles and options in the middle of the field.

Is it really a stretch of dominance when you have 0 rings to show for it? Dominating the regular season doesn't mean nearly as much to me.

Obviously you want SBs, but I'm not of the mindset that any season without a ring is a bust.
I just want a consistently competitive football team. Maybe my standards are too low
with 10 straight winning seasons and 0 rings, as opposed to 9 losing seasons and 1 ring, then I have to say I disagree. Each year would end in massive disappointment after getting our hopes up and we'd have nothing to show for having drafted Saquon Barkley. I much prefer the Giants 2005-2012 run than the Eagles run in the early to mid 2000s. A team that at least consistently gave us me meaningful football games to watch in December and even January AND went on a couple runs to the promised land. Would much rather that than go 12-4 or 13-3 every season and never win the whole thing, that would just be torture (and, thankfully, it was for Eagles fans back then).
what any fan wants is to see competitive football.....A SB is frosting on the cake......it's nice to have just cake once in awhile......instead of what we have been forced to eat 4 of the last 5 previous seasons...
If you're saying you would be okay

your one ring would offset those 9 losing seasons...
IMHO the camera angle in that clip is hiding the OL Barkley is
Specifically talking to. He's describing the play exactly how it will turn out, but he must be talking to Hernandez and/or Solder (prolly Hernandez) cause he tells him to give the DT a nudge "so the OC can hook him" and then he'll have a cutback lane to take it to the house.
The listener seems to have objected to the assignment, because SB answers him that anyway he can get 5 yards out of it all day long... They had run the play just before for a gain of 5, but SB saw the greater possibility with one more block executed a certain way.
Shades of Eli diagramming a play in the dirt for OBJ to split the Titans' cover 2 a few years ago. Gotta love how these guys use their heads to gain a edge.

BlueLou, good to see you Pal. Where you been, making vinegar somewhere.
I'll tell Lono your back, he might pop back up with a post.

I'll take our 1 SB ring in the 00s over the Eagles "decade"!!

Pretty sure it was Brown. And he runs over to celebrate with Brown immediately after the TD.
That hole couldn't be bigger if half the team wasn't on the field.
Line has been getting him decent holes last few weeks.
Just make him run old Jason Whitten patterns....run right at the LBer, and break to whichever side the LBer is not on....the LBer can't keep up with him....

Great blocks by Ellison and Sterling Shephard on that play as well.

Nice to be among the living again, too. John and I are already in touch via email, but thanks anyway.
Actually, I'm back making wine under my own label and for my partners at Bin Nun Winery.
Available in the NYC area or online...
Am I allowed to plug, E?
Where I been is not a topic for public consumption, it's private. John has my email

That's excellent.
If OBJ was out there, they couldn't do that.
