CB Janoris "Jackrabbit" Jenkins -- December 13, 2018

Q: What have you thought of Grant Haley the past couple of weeks as a young corner?
A: He stepped in, doing his job, doing what he’s supposed to do. Hope it continues and just keep playing football.

Q: What do you think makes him a rookie who can contribute that much? Like what skills do you see?
A: He likes to learn. He just does the small things right and he works hard.

Q: You're probably going to line up against Corey Davis a fair amount on Sunday, what do you see out of him as a receiver?
A: Corey Davis? What number is he?

Q: 84.
A: Oh – he’s alright. I mean, he’s a receiver. Just going to go out there and play football.

Q: What kind of challenge does (Marcus) Mariota present with just the way he’s able to make plays with his feet?
A: He’s a scrambler. We got to plaster very good and everybody just has to stay on your man.

Q: After the start you guys had to be in this position to have an outside chance to get to the playoffs, what does it say about this team?
A: We’re hungry, we understand that we started off slow and like coach always tell us, important football is played in November and December so we just have to keep playing.

Q: What do you think has been the biggest difference in the second half of the year?
A: Everybody on the same page, everybody having fun. We aren’t worrying about the little small things. We’re just having fun out there.

Q: Do you feel like you guys have developed as a defense an attitude where you’re giving offenses problems consistently and they’re hearing footsteps, so to speak?
A: You can say that. I just feel like we’re going out every Sunday and working, playing within the scheme, everybody flying to the ball and everybody wants to make a play.

Q: What do you think of (James) Bettcher as a coordinator?
A: I love him.

Q: Why?
A: Because he brings different scheme coverages, he blitzes the corner. He’s just puts you in a position to make the best play.
Corey Davis? What number is he?

Wow!
How long has Davis been part of the 53?!?

If the Shurmur/GG focus is "team" and "all in" how does Jackrabbit ask that question?

That's one demerit....
C'mon Keo...

...that was the old "Who?" response from Jackrabbit. Love that. As in Corey Davis hasn't made a name for himself among respected NFL players and in Jackrabbit's eyes he's JAG

Corey Davis..

What was the question about how long he's been part of the 53? Exactly 0 days.
