We don't know that. It would have taken a LOT to move up for him and who's to say he didn't try. Maybe KC just made a better offer. We have no idea.

I was shocked too, Gates was born in 1980. His rookie year was 2003, that's 15 years in the league, pretty crazy huh?

I had much higher hopes for him, but he's been somewhat of a disappointment. Obviously it's incredibly early and he's still young.
