Referee Mistake Stats

Kept by the NFL or some other, more objective source and published. Doesn't seem to be any public record of these. Are they kept -- or banned by the ref union or the league? Where are they? Why are we not seeing them?
Do you really think

that the league is going to publish something like that?
They are kept by the NFL

They do factor into playoff assignments and whether officials are retained by the NFL. The information is not publicly disclosed for a number of reasons from both NFL and union sides. My personal opinion is that in trying to appear like it is taking a stand in support of player safety, the league has hastily drafted penalties that can’t possibly be enforced with the necessary consistency. In addition, technology has made it possible for the fan to see every clutch and grab that can’t possibly be seen in real time and regular speed with bodies in the way. Cameras can be set at infinite angles. Having an infinite number of officials on the field would be absurd.

So you want the nfl to release stats showing how terrible the refs are. Brilliant! I’m assuming you def don’t run a business

Are not a totally above board league, and if anyone really thinks that the league doesn't have an agenda and teams they want to win, to best market who they deem the next stars, then you are living in a fantasy world, the league has never been a fan of Eli Manning for the one obvious reason, he did not go along with the NFL program and just go to the Chargers. A QB who has 357 T^D passes, thrown for 55,142 yards, and has 2 Super Bowl rings and Super bowl MVP's. He is treated and looked upon like a piece of shit. The sad part is when idiot Giant fans go along with this crap. Anyone who tells me that right now Tom Brady is much better then Eli Manning is fucking blind. But Brady is an NFL darling and is coached by one of the games greatest coaches of All Time.

Actually, I was thinking it would be a great third party business to start up and was wondering why there wasn't one. And no, I had no real expectation that the NFL would do it. But surely there's money in someone doing it if they could get away with it. Agreed there'd be property rights involved and maybe that's the stopper. But then aqain, maybe it's just "news" and "opinion" -- available already at least in part in each local with a team. This would just be a collection of and expansion of that information, getting quarter by quarter gross numbers by particular penalty called or missed by game, naming the refs involved. Experienced names behind the collection and publication of the numbers would give it some real legitimacy.

And how's your own business, by the way ?

Paul, get a grip. Brady wins every year. Player turnover does not matter, the guy wins. What fans from other franchises see is Eli's basically mediocre play with moments of true brilliance. Brady's been sacked a heck of a lot more than Eli, so as bad as Eli's olines have been, TBs have been worse, yet he continues to win.
If you have friends or acquaintances who root for other NFL teams, ask what they think of Eli and ask why they think that way. I was surprised that most think he is only a good but not great QB - basically just above average.
