I’ve linked his tweet which says he only sees 3 first round QB’s as of now-
Herbert
Haskins
Locke
In the mentions he says Grier is a mid round pick. He also says Haskins fits the Giants best based on Shurmur & the personnel they currently have.
Found this to be interesting.

Says that down in the tweet comments.
I’m not so sure. If the Giants are picking 10-12 range & Herbert/Haskins are sitting there they may be tempted. Assuming 8 wins in 2019, they may have to mortgage a lot of assets to jump up in 2020.
Very good point. They will have to really get creative to get the needed capital for 2020.
I was wondering the same thing.
By all accounts, however, Herbert loves Oregon. And with the great recruiting classes brought in by Cristobal, the Ducks are going to be very dangerous the next few years as playoff threats.

"Longtime NFL draft guru and league personnel executive Gil Brandt tweeted Monday that he'd "make a rather heavy wager" Oregon QB Justin Herbert will enter the 2019 NFL draft."

I think Herbert is going to enter the draft. He knows that he is the consensus #1 QB this year but next year he will be competing with Tua, Fromm, etc. The Giants are the perfect spot for Herbert. He will backup Eli for a year and learn behind a future HOF QB. Herbert is raw and he will struggle mightily if he has to play year one just like Jared Goff did. Goff was more advanced coming out too.
I believe this is the same guy who claims Lindsay is better than Saquon.
Tua and Fromm should be the targets. And I’m also fully expecting DG and Co. to sell off premium draft capital to get them.
I'm not a Haskins fan either. He has the making of a career backup.
This is one way to get a QB in 2020. So the Giants trading way back and getting a 2020 1st rounder would not surprise me.
