I get the thing about giving the punter more room but if WE jumped off sides it would be a first down for Tenn. You would have eliminated that possibility by accepting the penalty the first time.

we knew that about the Giants. Neither line is physical enough - period. Vernon wand Mauro have been very undisciplined not setting the edge and the guts filling the gaps inside are not making the plays. On offense, the OL is getting physically whipped. Solder and Hernandez have been ok, the other 3 have been horrid.

Eli had a lot of drops, and the pass protection was bad, especially Wheeler. But he also made two horrendous throws that could have been picked, including one that probably would have been a TD. His lack of mobility is also still painfully evident. I agree that he is still likely the best (or least bad) option in 2019, but he has real limitations at this point in his career.
