This whole organization reeks right now. The fans are the problem with this team being one of the worst in NFL since mid way through 2012? I mean doubling down on a losing philosophy by replacing reese with another insider, who would continue to validate the Mara philosophy, whatever that may be, definitely a winning move.

Banks asked him 3 times if he paid attention to this draft and what came out of it and other than the caller calling Barkley, Barwin, the only other guy he knew was Hill. Banks said, which I agree with, if you are going to call and bitch about something, get your facts straight (I’m paraphrasing).

This is a mediocre team. Maybe a little better on their best day, or a little worse on the crappiest day. They turned the season around to an extent but it was never going to end well. The Team is Probably not that far away, but they need work. A lot of work. They got mauled by a better and more physical team today.

I’m sure this place is a shit show right now. I’m just glad I’m home and warm and dry. What a mess that game was today. I deserve a super bowl title soon just for being there today.

Funny, I love listening to Papa. I think his play-by-play is quite detailed and he's honest about the team, not a shill. He's also a huge upgrade over his predecessor, Jim Gordon, whose play-by-play was awful. ("Simms back to pass. (long pause, crowd cheers swelling) Touchdown!") Gordon was the perfect example of what you're talking about. Had the job forever, whether he was any good at it or not.
