Draft Order
===============
Number in parentheses is NYG SOS relative to the listed team, a negative number means NYG has a weaker SOS than that team (i.e. NYG trending to pick ahead of that team for in case of a tie). For example, NYG SOS is currently 7 games weaker than JAC, meaning NYG is trending to pick ahead of JAC in case of a tie.)
1. ARI 3-11 (-3)
2. OAK 3-11 (-11.5) (almost clinched picking behind NYG in case of tie)
3. SF 4-10 (+2)
4. NYJ 4-10 (+2.5) will play GB
5. JAC 4-10 (-7)
6. ATL 5-9 (+5) will play CAR and TB
7. DET 5-9 (+3) will play GB
8. NYG 5-9
9. TB 5-9 (-0.5) will play ATL
10. BUF 5-9 (-2)
11. GB 5-8-1 (+6.5) will play NYJ and DET
12. CIN 6-8 (-5) will play CLE
13. DEN 6-8 (-4.5)
14. CAR 6-7 (+2) will play ATL
15. PHI 6-7 (clinched picking behind NYG in case of a tie) will play WAS
16. CLE 6-7-1 (-3) will play CIN
17. MIA 7-7 (clinched picking ahead of NYG in case of tie)
18. WAS 7-7 (clinched picking ahead of NYG in case of tie)
Assuming no tie games:
If Giants go 5-11, highest possible pick is #1, lowest is #9
If Giants go 6-10, highest possible pick is #3, lowest is #14
If Giants go 7-9, highest possible pick is #7, lowest is #17
Draft tiebreak vs WAS (non-common games)
WAS = wGB + wARI = 5.5 + 3 = 8.5
NYG = wCHI + wSF = 10 + 3 = 13
So WAS picks ahead of NYG in case of a tie.
Draft tiebreak vs PHI (non-common games)
PHI = wLAR + wMIN = 11 + 7.5 = 18.5
NYG = wCHI + wSF = 10 + 3 = 13
So NYG picks ahead of PHI in case of a tie.
In this bizzaro world I consider them to be behind Jacksonville :)
I am hoping that Jacksonville decides to go for it next year and signs Flacco or Bridgewater and decide to pass on a QB. Either way we need them to win out. The Giants will hopefully finish with a top 5 pick and be in position to get Herbert.

They’re looking for a QB. Imagine we are too. Can’t believe they let the Redskins come back & beat them

Given the value on his option, Foles is almost certainly going to be available as well. If you are a team who things you're just competent QB play away from a run there should be a couple of viable options in FA.
Next win is sometime in the fall of 2019.
Niners will be at home and coming off the upset of Seattle, so stranger things have happened.
Did you see what Tennessee's OL and DL did to us today? Dallas has comparable lines.

If you're a team that goes 5-11 and thinks you're just a few pieces away from contention, you're likely a team owned by John Mara.

Oh let me be clear, that's not us. We're not a QB and a couple of pieces away. We're maybe the sort of team who could do it if we had a once in a lifetime draft where we hit on every pick and they were all immediate contributors and that's after we had a stellar FA period. But that's not going to happen.
What I'm saying is the likes of the Jags who have a very talented Defense and a decent OL (if they're healthy) with a top tier RB and good WR corp may look at a Foles or Bridgewater + a top tier draft pick as a quicker solution than grooming a QB in a weak class.
I am beginning to warm up to him. He is winning the big games. Although he is not a super mobile QB, he can run for those yards, when needed. We will have to see if he will come out.
On a serious note, thanks for these threads; they are very helpful.

There is a lot of defensive talent at the top of this draft. .. QB Haskins from Ohio State is intriguing as well

What impresses me about Haskin is his arm.. He is a damn good passer IMO
Just hoping that the Cowboys are in a situation, where they need to win a game.....

With a win against Tampa, Dallas will clinch the Division and most likely be locked into the four seed. Nothing to play for

...I'm gonna be pissed as shit if we Draft any lower than #6.

That's correct. Giants will win their last game of this season.

I see the Giants picking 9-11.

My guess is when it’s all done, the NYG will be picking 7/8.

My guess is 7. I think they will lose out leaving 10 teams to vie for. Jax will win one with their Def, the TB/Atl game will eliminate one, and then either one of Buf or Det win scratch a cheap win. If Atl wins the TB/Atl, then possibly 6.
I see Atlanta also being behind us...they should win at least one more game. I will have to check Lions schedule to see if they have a chance to win a game. Probably not.

I don't see the Giants trading up for a QB this year at all. BPA is most likely the route they go. They have way too many holes to lose draft picks in a trade up.
