LOL. Brady had a couple of notable "chuck and duck's" today, one for an INT and one to end the game. On local (Boston) talk radio tonight the hosts are calling the Patriots "frauds" that "are not going anywhere".
Not to Miller the thread, but I can't wait until the Pats miss the playoffs and all the fans jump ship.
Him and the run defense. The guy is absolutely cooked. He's absolutely awful right now. He literally needs everything to be perfect or he's hot garbage. When the line and Saquon play like they did last game he looks good. Half of BBI would look good under that circumstance.
Is almost as bad as his physical decline. He is staring down his receivers all the time. He’s missing or making bad calls at the line. His decision making looks more and more like skittish Eli from his first four years than gambling and gunslinging Eli under Gilbride in his prime.
Everything has to be optimal for him to even be average or do some things.
Saquon and Eli looked bad today. Oh, and the receivers. So does that mean Saquon is cooked too? Because he couldn’t overcome the Oline getting blown up. Or is it just Eli. Hmm

The Titans loaded up in the box to clog the gaps and stop Barkley. With suboptimal conditions, they didn’t fear Manning one bit and they were shown to be right.
but listen to a guy like Bruce Arians. He said continually throughout the game Eli was playing well and looking good for his 1st year in Shurmur's system. Trent Green agreed.
It's the rest of the offense that doesn't do its job. Today it was bad blocking, dumb penalties (none by Eli) and bush league drops.
As Green said, the QB gets too much credit when they win and too much blame when they lose.

Absolutely....but the play calling, OL pass and run blocking, and the inability of SS to fight for balls, contributed too...
Can't anyone tell Eli, that he stares down receivers? He makes it so easy for DB's to go for the ball by telegraphing his throws...
But he has to be a better game manager.....trailing 7-0, in his own red zone, shifting the ball in his hands to attempt a pass instead of taking the sack, is inexcusable....
His throws were off.....how do you not throw the ball to the corner of the endzone where only EE can get it? He was wide open and it was too short....was it the wet ball or Eli?
Anyone that thinks Eli's arm strength has not deteriorated, is looking with blue tints.....He can get the ball from A to B, but it takes too long to get there....next year, he is another year older.....
Eli can still play, but not at a level that makes this team a contender....I think he is back next year, but don't expect more than 8-8....
Would the Giants extend him, even if they don't have a qb for the future? I don't think so....So DG, or whoever is in charge, has to think long and hard on paying someone 17M, and another season out of the playoffs....

Right. The OL wasn't even close to mediocre today. It all starts and ends there.
You really don't understand the sport, do you? Your posts are absolutely embarrassing.

No he doesnt. His sole point with a few other posters is post shit on Eli. He's an awful fan.
I mean jesus christ. We are asking a QB to win us a game in a downpour with his top WR out. Who the fuck thought he was going for 400 and 3 TDs?
was good against mediocre defenses, but not good against a good one. That said, even with drafting for the OL, Manning is slow, and he can't buy time anymore to extend plays and make things happen. They won't win with him. They need a younger, more mobile QB if they want to get anywhere next year.

So the receivers were getting open, weren't dropping them, and the line did a fine job run blocking?
This post should be pinned and added to the BBI Terms of Service. Criticism of the QB will NOT BE TOLERATED on this board! Anyone who violates this rule should be banned immediately.

Actually not true at all. Eli did not cost us the game yesterday. We were losing no matter what. He made some terrible throws and decisions but he actually made some really good throws yesterday too.
The difference between you and I is I'm willing to give Eli credit when he plays well, you will defend him regardless of how he plays.
"If the Giants are still thinking about letting Eli Manning be their starting quarterback in 2019, maybe film from this game will change their mind."
He threw an unbelievably bad screen to EE (10 yards over his head), a sure interception in the flat to Saquan that the defender never saw, airmailed an interception in the redzone trailing by 7, and fumbled the ball and then pushed it away like a little girl.
It wasn't all the offensive line's fault.
Eli won 2 SB’s and the other 13 years never won a playoff game Â
Steelers and Chargers ?

Always everyone else’s fault.
Running scapegoat list for 6 years.
Notice the Packers record right now. The QB can't save everybody.

But Eli quit on this team plain and simple.

Ok.
There's nothing more you could ask from Eli, the only good player on the field for the giants yesterday, aside from Barkley.

The two rules of BBI are as follows:
1. It's never Eli's fault.
2. If it ever is Eli's fault, see Rule #1.
