Investing in him could be a huge franchise killer. Would rather draft a QB than pay for a salary that Foles is going to demand. Would rather stick with Eli on e more year.
He’s an average QB with decent mobility. Fairly accurate, as well. Next years QB class is a big ? And Foles just might a better option for some teams. Giants aren’t one of them though IMO.
Find a safety and make webb the 3rd db and not a starter. Find WR that don't drop the ball. The biggest question is what to do with Vernon. The tackling was awful today. Webb and Riley were useless.
Forget Foles. Let Eli go. Let either Lauletta or some other scrub take the helm in 2019, and just entirely hit the skids. Work your way out of some bad contracts by taking the cap hit in 19. Find competent leadership to take the helm, both at the top and the HC. Then go into the 2020 draft, select a QB high, and rebuild the team for football in 2020. Use the advantage of having a cost controlled QB and some cap space to fill some holes in FA, along with another draft of high pick talent.
Won't happen, but that's what they should be doing.
It's almost like all the games of Nick Foles being a terrible Â
who can make the Giants better! Nor is there one in the draft who came to this team, he would get killed working behind this oline! The Giants will play with Eli as their qb for the next two seasons.
RE: For the love of God make it stop! There is no FA qb out there Â

Yet, he won the Super Bowl and looked like the better QB in virtually every game he played from when Wentz go hurt through the Super Bowl.
Somebody is giving him decent money this off season. He's better than the other names thrown around like Bridgewater and Taylor.
He is not the answer long term, but the Giants could do worse while looking for a permanent replacement.
If Tua is the best prospect on your draft board for 2020, Â
I'd rather try and trade for Nick Mullens. They're going to have a QB problem next year in san fran and after watching him for 4 full games (I'm a social worker, not a scout), I think he could be a good stopgap until they find a franchise qb that will allow them to build elsewhere with those high picks. Maybe I'm nuts - but it would be nice to have someone that could hold down the fort after next year, assuming Eli has one year left.
But I would like Eli on the team next year. But I wish we could have found his successor a year or two earlier.
No to both at $20 mill. or more than 5 mil.
Jared Goff might be.

And Andrew Luck is not in next years draft
Jared Goff might be.
I think he meant who wont be under contract.
I can’t watch much more of this version of #10.
But I suspect the regime is going to punt the QB situation one more year and continue to lose next season.
Someone like Fitzpatrick, Bridgewater, or Tyrod Taylor likely cost 5 million or so against the cap.
Could draft his eventual replacement, and have potentially 10 million to spend elsewhere.
This team seems light years away anyway, not like Eli will put them over the top. Start building for the next guy up
How exactly do you know this?

How exactly do you know this?
Because Luck was one of the best QB prospects coming out of college.
Still ol work to do, and build the D.
No shiny toys for the shurm just yet.
Maybe not Foles, but cutting Eli saves the team 17 million against the cap.
Someone like Fitzpatrick, Bridgewater, or Tyrod Taylor likely cost 5 million or so against the cap.
Fitz? He will give you fits....
Taylor made 16M this year....
Bridgewater is looking for that second contract.....not a one year 5M deal.....
Oh there's plenty of appreciation for the 22.2M mediocrity going on here.
Won't happen, but that's what they should be doing.
Two years? Make it stop!
The idiots then will be call for him instead of wentz down there lol
Let’s try 18mm but don’t let facts get in the way

I think the next Starter will be a free agent signee.
