Anybody going tonight? Rochester is only showing it at 2 different theaters. Bought my tickets a few weeks ago, Pops and I are super excited to be seeing this one. I'll leave a review later after the show.

not sure about 3D, generally don't like the format, but the chance to see this film in 3D is something I can't see missing.

As good as you'd expect from Jackson. Great technical achievement. Not a history of the war at all. Follows the story of the soldiers from a personal standpoint and what the war was like for them. Excellent.

I took my twelve year old. On BBI advice I left my nine year old at home, which was a good decision. It spoke for itself, with little editorial commentary included or necessary.
