is 17th. JPP has 11.5 sacks (you really think he'd have that number here)plus Tampa still not going to the playoffs. As for Apple, I've seen him play with the Saints...not good. He played the odd good game for us too but not consistently.

Not up to his contract but obviously but an obvious improvement. The line has started to come together and that is with Pulley and Wheeler starting. Both players, especially Pulley, are not starting caliber players. If the Giants improve both positions then the line should improve significantly.

At how many people are knocking JPP and Snacks by saying that the Bucs and Lions are not going to the playoffs. Really? 1 guy out of 22 starters is supposed to take a bad team and turn them into a good team, and if he doesn't then that must mean he sucks? Boy then that means Saquon Barkley must really suck, because the team he plays on is 5-9! This is intellectually dishonest and makes the posters spouting this drivel look stupid. JPP has had a great year and Snacks is undoubtedly still an elite run-stopper in this league, just admit that and move on. Maybe they weren't a perfect fit for Bettcher's system or maybe we had decent enough talent behind them making less $ to adequately fill in, that's why we shipped them out, but to say that they're a couple of losers and shitty players because the teams they play on are losing doesn't make any sense. I think everyone should also be open to the fact that DG has probably made some good moves and some bad moves, that's just how it goes, we just hope the good outweighs the bad when all is said and done. Vernon? Why does it make sense to cut him now? He’s a sunk cost at this point. After the season he’s the odds on favorite to be one of the first cuts.

+1 Yeah, this is some GREAT Defense, they got steamrolled right up the middle in the second half of the Philly game, almost gave away the Bears game to Chase Daniel, Josh Johnston who knows what he would have done if he started the Wash game, Winston in the Tampa game, etc. This is NOT a good defense, so not too sure we can sit here applauding all these moves!
