I have to do an entry to a college football bowl pick 'em pool against the spreads. And I say have to because I'm in a season long NFL pick em pool against the spread and part of our entry includes the college bowl pool (which is a separate contest, but like I said included in my entry fee).
It's a weighted pool, so one where each bowl game has points and they escalate in value as they get closer to the national title so the National Title game is worth 50 points and the Frisco Bowl for example is 3 points. Most new year's day bowls are 25 points as are the playoffs.
So pick the overall winner (and the semi winners) and you obviously do better.
I don't watch college football enough, so I did some research and can't find a good source for who should win.

Alabama - 13.5 vs Oklahoma? I have Alabama
Clemson - 7.5 vs Notre Dame? I have Clemson
And then they have it as Alabama or Oklahoma - 6.5 vs Clemson or Notre Dame (pick one).

Right, I think best case for gamblers would have to be Alabama is upset and then Oklahoma giving 6.5 to Clemson.
Second to that might be Oklahoma giving 6.5 to ND.
but again, not being a college football viewer it looked like Oklahoma allowed 48 points to Texas, 46 to Texas Tech, 40 to Kansas, 47 to Oklahoma State, 56 to West Virginia..
It seems like Alabama could score 60 on them (based on looking at stats)
