I thought I'd start a new thread for this game since I'm sure a lot of us want to see Haskins. Also, The Snake is 'retiring' after this game to teach leadership courses in Columbus.
Would like to see how he does under pressure with an opposing pass rush.
^This. A lot of the time it looks like pitch and catch for him. But he has a rocket arm, is accurate, and can scramble. Somebody will draft him in the first round based on his physical attributes, the thin crop of QBs, and the fact that QBs are usually overdrafted.
Has an elite arm and is incredibly accurate. Two great attributes.
But it is kind of difficult imo to get a full read on him due to the loaded OSU roster. Rarely under pressure and his receivers are usually better athletes than the defenders.
That says "Rose Bowl Game..." is making me hear Paulie over and over again from Rocky IV. "How am I gonna watch the Rose Bowl game? They bettah have my comics!"
The Huskies have the 12th ranked defense in country Â
but you never going to get a good read on this guy with the amount of time he gets to throw the ball. Can we take the whole OL with our 1st pick. How about the Wisconsin OL with the first pick.

How many years do you expect us to be picking top 10? I’m sick of hearing how all we need to do is put an offensive line around Eli Manning. It’s time to move on.

My only knock is that he gets rattled a bit when under pressure. The kid is crazy talented though. I find it funny when people have watched a game or two or maybe only a couple of throws and they dismiss the kid completely. I’d certainly have no problem if he was there at 6 and we took him.
and just as accurate. Neither guy will have the luxury of playing games with superior talent that Alabama and Ohio St have on offense. These guys have big stats that may not translate to the NFL.

Here you go:

"Haskins had all day to throw the ball..."
Yes, the ENTIRE year.
I'm not kidding when I say I think nearly every QB in the big five conferences could have been very effective and productive in that OSU offense.
I’m always worrried about Urban QBs coming out of that spread system.
Haskins does what he does best. Drink some coffee, find wide open guy, make the throw.

That sums it up.
The game I saw him reading The Lantern and still throwing for 400 - I think it was Maryland - I knew his numbers were totally goosed... ;)
Lol based on what?
He had a couple of pretty inaccurate throws on that last drive but did make a nice pass for the TD
You perceive the threat.

But again, he is a gifted passer.

I agree bw needs to tone down his act.
Those throws are the norm.
No pressure
Wide open receiver.
The PAC isn’t what it was a few years ago.

The PAC12 is a disaster in both football and hoops.
Is there a bigger misnomer than their motto - "Conference of Champions"?
Although Rapp is their best player and he isn't playing.
He’s looked human against good defenses.
Washington is dropping 7 and 8, of course he’s going to have time.

That's the question
Well, we know your boy Will Grier certainly didn’t need a shower or uniform washed after his bowl game...

after this game? Will they even need to launder his uniform?

Grier really left Sills twisting in the wind.
