I hear that, but I don't think it means he's going to be a Giant next year. I think it was Gettleman admitting that Eli told him why they suck and agreeing with him.
but there is also the FACT the OL needs to improve and his play does not warrant the tag .... I agree that comment was very telling as I noted it as well in another thread but it is clear Gettleman expressed and held to there still needs to be some give and take on both sides ... Eli wants to stay and currently he is the best short term option and if he wants to win he needs to accept the fact to stay and win it means giving up $$$$ ... but the question is what and where is the middle ground.

You can't trade your best player on defense and a top 10 pick that is still developing and not expect the unit to take a major decline.
