and it was enough. Although the Giants beating the Eagles in their first playoff game of my lifetime in 1981 is one of my best football memories BECAUSE I was living in Philly.

I hope you find your way out of there. Amazingly, PA is a beautiful state. You know what Philly is? It's like if you were admiring a beautiful woman's shapely ass (Pennsylvania), and you looked closer, only to find a shit stain on it that just won't go away no matter how much she wipes.

At any rate, I agree with you, I have friends who are Cowboys' fans, I have friends who are Philly fans. Both are annoying, but Philly fans take the cake. They seem to make douchebaggery a competition, where the one who is the biggest douche canoe gets the prize of dying alone and miserable! And yet they are all trying to out-do one another.

From a football standpoint, I have a lot of confidence in the Bears' defense. And if anyone has at least as much testicular fortitude of Doug Pederson, who I greatly respect as a coach, it's Matt Nagy.

I think the Bears are going to make life very difficult for Foles and that entire Philly Offense. The defense is just playing with so much swagger, and as much as I like Foles, I just don't think he is the guy to break through that wall.

Foles is a good story, props to him. I also think that the Eagles remind me somewhat of our 2011 team in that they managed to get hot at the right time. I’d be surprised if they lost to the Bears. Let’s hope I’m totally off on this. I would be quite pleased. Ecstatic, actually.

I think it's going to be extremely difficult to go on the road, vs. the bears and win. Chicago is one of the best sports towns in the world. That fan base will be going insane. I'm rooting for the Bears. Remember who won the super bowl the year after the last time the Bears won :-).

I fear the Eagles repeat. Getting hot at the right time is key. While all the juggernaut teams seem to be starting to simmer down.
