NFT: Wireless Headphone Recommendations

UConn4523 : 1/4/2019 3:39 pm
Most research leads to noise cancelling headphones which I do not want (hate how it feels). Looking for a quality pair of over ear wireless headphones that work well making calls. I know I can just turn noise cancelling off but i'd rather not have it at all since it greatly effects price.
Funnily enough

I just saw this on Twitter. Can't vouch personally for how good it is, though.

What is your price range?

The bose SoundLinks are pretty good, cost $230.

If you want cheaper, maybe a pair of JBLs?

What Anakim recommends (or other earbuds) plus this over the top of them:

The Peletor earmuffs let you listen to music on the plane, or mowing the lawn, or blowing leaves. I have a pair. They're great at the pistol range, too AND... they're on sale. If you jog, leave them home.

and like it fine, but I don't use it for music much so I can't vouch for its fidelity. I'm more likely to be editing video or listening to news or sports.

Iím open on price so thereís are what Iíve been leaning towards. My hesitation is the batter life vs something like the Beats Studio 3ís which are last over 2x as long. I donít ďneedĒ beats but their battery life is a massive perk.
I bought my wife

Nobody wants to hear it, but AirPods are a great product IMO.

Second the AirPod recommendation if over the ear is not required.

I havenít seen them yet, Iíll check those out.

No go on ear buds, I want over ear only. Trying to completely remove having anything inside my ear (whole other reason that doesnít matter).

and they are awesome. Great sound, noise isolation but not noise canceling built in microphone, great for working out.

in a wringer, but I've had my Beats Wireless Studios for a few years and not only have they held up under hundreds of thousands of air miles, packing, and unpacking - but they still sound the same and the cans still feel brand new. I had to replace the pads on my Bose QCs way quicker and those were wired. Happy Beats customer here. Well worth the price I paid. And btw, the battery life is phenomenal and the charging time is super quick.
