Knox started fast, missed some wide open looks in the 2nd half, then got agressive at the end of the game for 4 points...
Hardaway played in the flow, did not really force, a game like last night makes you think he could be a good 3rd or 4th option...
I wish they would integrate Knox into the offense more during the middle of these games. He gets off to these big starts, and then once he comes back off the bench after his first rest he ends up just standing in the corner doing nothing for the rest of the game. There will be what seem like 5 minute stretches that will go by without him even touching the ball, and then when he does he forces up a bad shot because he isn't in any type of a rhythm anymore.

that is partially on him to, to many times they set a screen for him and he doesnt come hard off the screen..
He needs to be more agressive getting the ball, i know people hate him but hardaway goes and gets the ball, knox needs to learn that..
Now as he gets older and more confident the ball will gravitate to him but for right now he needs to be more agressive
Robinson did not play. They could have used him. Lack of rim protection led to McGee running wild, and giving up offensive rebounds to the other team is still a problem. Kornet and Kanter both played OK but Kornet is a stretch 4 like KP and Kanter is Kanter.
Frank got hurt - nothing serious - so Burke got some burn. He was OK as well. For whatever reason they played a pretty good team game last night. But the Lakers without Lebron are nothing special.

Scored 14 of his 15 points in the third quarter when the Knicks were outscored 33-23. Kept them in the game.
Other than third quarter, he was 0-10 from field, so final line reads 4-16.
He was dishing the 3 point assists early when Knicks built up a lead, then sat for a long time as Fizdale rode Burke.
Played last nine minutes of game, scoring only one point in 4Q but making some nice passes.
Vonleh had a ton of rebounds when he was on the court but got into foul trouble. Hezonja got a chance and played well, so Fizdale rode him to the finish.
Frank was in walking boot after game and they're calling it a strained ankle tendon.
RE: Just read January 17 game in London vs the Wizards Â
I can't seem to get excited when the Knicks win on the back of THjr and Kanter. It's nice to see Mario play well, but I'm not sure he'll be on the team next year. As for Knox, I'd actually recommend playing him less. He seems to get tired. I'd let him build up strength and endurance off of the court. Maybe just play him the 1st and 4th quarter and see if he can be aggressive and effective in both. Just an idea.
As for the Lakers, I felt like they gave the Knicks this game. They missed a ton of wide open 3s. Also, many of their veteran players seemed to play well, yet weren't out there to close the game. I think if Beasley and Stephenson had closed the game the Lakers would have won. It looked to me like Chandler also deserved more minutes but McGee was playing very well too. When the Lakers defaulted to just giving Ingram the ball at the top of the key they seemed to fold.

Maybe he’s traded by then

Lakers young talent is so overrated

Yeah, I read that too. ESPN article linked below. Kanter is somewhat of a flake but I can't say he's wrong about this given what's been going on.
Kanter fears he will get offed in London - ( New Window )
I was thinking the same thing last night. Ball is a bad fit with Lebron but I think they'll regret not taking Fox, not to mention Tatum.
