I think it stays a TD. Very very narrow margin there.

looked like one angle clearly showed the ball coming out of the grip before crossing

Yeah I can see it but its as hes crossing the line. He does put his hand back on the ball though on the ground.
That's a break for

Houston. I thought that was going to be a touchback.

game is more proof that football is still won and lost in the trenches. Luck has been great, but he's had a ton of time to throw. His OL has been awesome.

Crazy stat they showed this week leading into the game that Luck had thrown the 2nd most passes in the NFL and was sacked the fewest. 635 to 18.

Hits and hurries stats I don't have. But that ratio is ridiculous.
Ha, that ball was loose

WHAT A FUCKING PASS.

With a projected $121M, the #Colts have the most cap space heading into 2019, giving this young, talented team a load of options to keep their core intact, and improve where needed.

LeVeon Bell?
That great Colts OL brokedown on that drive.

They don't need Bell. And they don't need the risk of a me-first guy taking over the locker room
Watson waking up.

Depends how you see it, I personally think Bell had every right to do what he did. The Steelers played games with him too long and were cheap.
Donovan Watson

How many grounders can he throw?
Watson just doesn't impress me

As a future top tier QB at this point. Great kid. Great athlete. Great QB. He's got a way to go

Got real sloppy with his arm mechanics. He did it too in game against the Giants. If he doesnt work on his throwing hes going to be an average NFL QB.
Reich + Luck + o-line
BigBlueinChicago : 1/5/2019 7:32 pm : link
with that solid defense are going to be a difficult task for the Chiefs to stop next Saturday.

Mahomes/Reid vs. Luck/Reich. Tough call on who you would take there, but I would take the Colts duo.

Welp...
trueblueinpw : 1/5/2019 7:32 pm : link
Thought that was gonna be a better game. Thought Watson had something to prove in this game; I dont think this will be his last chance, but he didnt prove anything today.
What a Fucking joke

By the Texans at home. Talk about shitting the bed.

Though, after all, the Giants beat these idiots too. In Houston.

Just a matter of time before he gets wrecked, running the ball. Gonna takes it toll.

Awesome accuracy by Luck.
Figure the Texans
Sammo85 : 1/5/2019 7:35 pm : link
will franchise Clowney but they have some work to do on their roster. Their offensive line isnt much better than ours. They also have age creeping in on the secondary of that defense. They could really use another RB option and some better play at TE.
JJ Watt Doesn't

Had 16 sacks. Only Donald had more.
It's the playoffs
AcesUp : 1/5/2019 7:38 pm : link
Today was the day to take advantage of Watson's legs with more designed runs, instead he ran the same gameplan that they do in the regular season. That's necessary and smart then but in a single elimination tourney you should be doing everything in your power to win and he never adjusted.
One positive...

This is the last time we'll hear this crew until next fall. Yeah, they're broadcasting the Pro Bowl game, but I'd rather watch paint dry.
I literally did a spit..
FatMan in Charlotte : 1/5/2019 7:42 pm : link
take when Booger said that JJ Watt isn't paid to bat down passes, but to get sacks and that he has to do better when the stat came on the screen that Watt has the most batted passes in the last three years - by a wide margin.

I already had said this would be the throwaway game of teh weekend - but I should have realized it would be because that crew is abominable

He had a terrific comeback season. Braden Smith did a solid job today when matched up.
Frank Reich just summed it up perfectly

How do you win football games...YOU DOMINATE UP FRONT.

Not like its some big secret but its something the Giants have neglected for years.

Jim Irsay sucks. The only good that came from televising Irsays speech is Dan Snyder just said, Thats what my team needs. They need me giving a motivational speech. Already winning the offseason.
Quenton Nelson...

The Giants didn't "neglect" the offensive line - they blew assets on bad players. The investments were there both in cap dollars and draft picks. Reese and Gettleman just managed to strike out swinging on most of them. Hernandez looks like the first one that is actually going to pan out in quite some time.

Omameh was an awful signing.. I'm not that mad about Solder, it was sort of necessary. But we wound up in that conundrum to begin with because we whiffed on Flowers.

Yes Flowers was a whiff, but the only really stab they took at getting a foundation player on the line the last few years (prior to this year)

The coaching on the Houston side leading into the game with the gameplan and the in game decisions did not give their players the best chance to win.

.
arcarsenal : 1/5/2019 8:03 pm : link
Well, they also spent a 1 on Pugh... a 2 on Richburg. Neither guy got a 2nd contract here.

Even the late round flyers like Hart didn't work out. Wheeler sucks.

So many swings and so many misses. Sheer odds alone make it almost seem hard to believe that Reese could have missed on so many offensive linemen. But.. he did. And that's how we got here
the problem with picking against the Pats
BigBlueCane : 1/5/2019 8:08 pm : link
is that someone still has to do it. The Ravens have a chance but they're gonna need Jackson to hit some pass plays I think to win.

Watson getting reamed by Steve Smith Sr. today for doing all those first down signals while down 21 zip.

He played terrible. After all the hype he laid a big egg. People mostly want to blame BoB though.

You did well to hang in there. I couldn't take it any more and put the broadcast on mute in the 3rd quarter. God, those three are awful.
