Why can you “confidently” say it will never happen?

this far away from the draft, I can confidently say that will never happen. Another example of a sportswriter basing their selection on the perceived needs of a team.

Gettleman will not trade high picks to move up for a guy that will be there when they pick at 6, especially if the ER from Kentucky is on the board. I can see him go get Allen, not Haskins.
Standing Ovation.

One thing I have learned about this message board is people love to speak in absolutes and pass there opinion off as fact

One thing I learned is that when somebody opposes another's opinion it is dismissed as somebody speaking in absolutes..

I hope you’re ready to root for Haskins if he’s the pick.

You just said what DG will and won’t do, you’re definitely speaking in absolutes

I don't care who they pick. I like Haskins. If it is at #6, 0k. But you do know they need a hell of a lot more help on either line, more than they need a QB.

I hear you but if Gettleman believes he’s the future then you do what’s necessary.
Why?
This may be the first time anyone ever described something cornball Serby wrote as "hilarious"

I think the only reason Gettleman passed on a QB last year was Saquon. There is no such player in this years draft.
And Serby must be smoking some good dope to come up with a scenario like that...

Then you haven't been paying attention. If SB was gone, the pick likely was Chubb. From our own connected posters stating such. The reality is that there was no consensus on any of the QBs. DG was not going to pick a player without the consensus. If there was no consensus last year, I find it hard to believe that Haskins will be the consensus best player at #6.

Get your Haskins jersey ready!
I remember a friend of mine had a 36", biggest at the time.....he had this great idea to make the tv screen flat with the wall so he built an enclosed for it to go into(it went into a closet on the other side of the wall)....compared to my 27" it looked enormous......
Only had one problem, the heat generated in that small enclosure......didn't stop him, he set up a fan system to circulate cool air through duct work......the guy could fix/design anything...

With that logic we’ll never draft a QB, and no disrespect to the connected posters that said it would have been Chubb if not Barkley but do they work for the Giants and if so are they apart of the decision making?
Strong arm, very athletic and mobile. Quick release and accurate passer. Good size.
I’m going to be interested in seeing more. Thoughts?

Please learn to crop the excess lines from replies so they aren't a whole page long.
The connected posters have contacts inside the Giants, yes.
Thanks Driver

Will do.
We don't care what you believe....

Compared to Haskins you think Jones is the better prospect?
