and QB play. Still the biggest two keys to winning in this league. That's precisely why the Giants are no closer to competing for titles than they were at this time last year because they haven't filled either one of those holes at all.

QB play had NOTHING to do with this game. You kidding me? They both stunk.
Youngest QB to ever start a playoff game and he managed to hang in and give them a chance. He has a lot of improvement to make, but I wouldn't bet against him getting better.
Considering the fact that Eli was absolute dogshit in his first playoff start, when he was two years older than Jackson and had a season and a half a starter under his belt.

I don't think Rivers stunk as much as they had a very obvious game plan to run, run, run mainly because the Ravens D gave Rivers fits in the previous game. They basically asked him to do very little, what they asked him to do (make the occasional 3rd down and don't turn the ball over) he did reasonably well.
....but Harbaugh stuck with him and he almost brought them back.
They lost this game, but it might serve them well going forward next year..........
Let’s be honest, it was pretty much garbage time and the Chargers dropped two easy INTs. He was awful
Or, as Gettleman and Shurmur might say, he showed what he TRULY is capable of in the second half and it's offensive of you to discredit it by saying it was garbage time.
RE: Kind of funny to see the Eli fan club laughing at Jackson Â

It’s kind of funny to people who are miserable in real life...

Did you watch all 4 quarters? Not so bad? 3 fumbles? 1n Int and lucky it wasn't two more.
didn't play great because Baltimore has a terrific pass rush, and the weather conditions.
He also protected the ball.
Anyone who believes this team is on the right path is delusional. They'll be on the right path when they start filling the two gigantic holes at QB and pass rushers. This year looks like a good one to get a pass rusher.
Rivers managed that game very well. Zero turnovers against a terrific defense on the road.
Beckham and Barkley can stand on their heads every game, but it's not going to matter unless the real problems on this team get addressed.

Huh? What??? Oh great he didn’t turn it over. Except for a big dropped INT. And red zone failures and wasted field position.
He didn’t play well. He didn’t hurt them. But his defense and kicker were the stars of the game.

I feel for him, but he was dreadful.
I stopped watching ESPN years ago but I already know what's going to be said. Stephen A Smith will lead the way in praising Lamar Jackson for nearly coming back with a strong game even though that's far from the truth. They will continue to hype him up as if he had a monster game.

I do think if they can properly sort out the Oline and the pass rush (which will still take an unbelievably epic FA and draft period) you could potentially do what Dallas has done which is basically make the supporting cast so good that so-so QB play is acceptable.

Is there anyone else you want to blame besides Jackson?
You can see some ability, but Lord I cannot see him as an NFL QB.
Maybe he will get it with 2 quarters of garbage time stats...
Hehehe
To be fair, he’d be doing the same thing if he got to face Baltimore with Jackson at QB.
Nope, it doesn’t. Jackson fumbled...AGAIN
They lost this game, but it might serve them well going forward next year..........

Why would he be laughing his ass off...??
I think they have a decent chance to beat the Pats...

We can blame the oline right? Jackson wasn’t great but neither was the rest of the offense.
Not as large as Jackson's horrific play for 50 minutes.

Jackson is not there yet, which is completely understandable. But his career and success will be predicated on that, just as it is for every other QB.

He only did anything when the Chargers fell asleep.

Sure as long as admit that 95% of his stats were garbage time stats and any drives of meaning he sucked balls.

Play like what? If the Chargers defense plays like this, they'll win next week too.
