is a rookie with about a half a season of real playing experience. Right now, he's just being asked to be a game manager as the Ravens rely on their defense and running game. Whether he can become more is an unknown. The problem is that he isn't managing this game very well. It's also difficult to win in the playoffs with a game manager at QB unless all the other phases of your team are truly outstanding.
RE: People want 'defensive battles', here you go. Â

That might be true, but RGIII showed much more talent in his rookie season
Where are these 30 MPH gusts people talking about?
Not sure what you are referring to - the 30 mph gusts have been mentioned 15x since noon. Jay feely went into detail about it.
Say what you want about Rivers but he is accurate ... but his throws are all over the place today including the deep shot on the last drive that landed 5 yards out of bounds and would have picked up PI were it catchable

Rivers arm isn't really the type to hold up in wind. Lots of arm under the ball.

The on screen from CBS said 2.8 that’s why I mentioned it.
It’s tough to decipher on Jackson’s throws cause he looks like he usually does.
pass from Jackson. They should switch at halftime. The problem is that Flacco hasn't played in weeks, so he'll probably need at least one series just get accustomed to playing again.
LOL just stating the obvious. Jackson averaged 160 yards passing in his seven starts. He’s a run first “QB” that Louisville’s system was built around. He’s not a good QB.
Rivers should have made that last throw though.... but I just knew dep would post about it
And you would defend him :)
Yes, which is ironic since RGIII is now on the Ravens.
This has been one of the ugliest games I've seen in a few years.
This is so true. Where are all those people bitching from the KC-LAR game? Last night was a defensive game as well.
Oh, and ratings were through the roof this year. No mention of that either.
There is a difference between a defensive battle and piss poor QB play

Eh. Between the Chargers defense adjusting and the 30mph wind gusts, I'm not so sure.

The radio broadcast said wind gusts are 15-18mph and we've seen three FG's banged through with minimal impact from wind.

Maybe kilometers per hour?? ha
So times 2 in balt

That's not indicative of a great defense - it is some god awful throwing.
