How do these Edge Rushers compare to previous draftees?

DonnieD89 : 1/7/2019 8:32 am
For all the intense college football watchers and scouts like Sy out there, how talented are these edge rushers compared to players like JJ Watt, Khalil Mack or Von Miller coming out? I'm curious about comparisons and potential. Thanks.
To clarify,

I know JJ Watt is a DE, and the Giants could be looking for a DE given their hybrid defensive scheme.
Watt Mack and Miller is a pretty high standard

.
those are 3 future HOF

you want to know if there is another future HOF in this draft? That's a high bar to clear.

Coming away with another Bosa or even Clowney would go a long way towards turning things around.
It's a deeper draft in ERs than most

Yes they are. That's why I want to know were they guys compare, coming out. I remember Mack continuing to climb the boards.
TBD

I'm not seeing a wealth of 3-4 ERs.

You can put Allen in that air of Von Miller and Mack coming out of college. Dude took over games in similar fashion and he jumps off the screen in a similar way (imo)

Quinnen Williams is, IMO, comparable to where Gerald McCoy was coming out of Mississippi St,

Nick is as hyped as his Brother Joey was.

Ed Oliver similar to Donald’s hype coming out (with many of the same questions about size and ability to handle NFL size and strength.)

Rashan Gary reminds me of Robert Nkemdiche’s draft. (freakishly gifted DT that had impressive years of college but who’s production took an inexplicable hit his last season. Many had Nkemdiche as a top 10 guy before the draft but ended going in the latter portion of the 1st. And I see Gary sliding
