Figured a separate game thread would be a good idea as to not cloud up the draft prospects thread with 300 other posts from other game-related stuff.
I know most of the world is already tired of this matchup. But they're the two best teams, and if the goal is to have the two best teams be left standing at the end, it's happening here.
We can debate the recruitment process and everything else until the cows come home, but that's for another day.
Saban vs. Dabo. Tua vs. Lawrence. Bama vs. Clemson.
Expecting another one to go down to the wire with these teams. They've been on a collision course all year. Now they're here.
Roll Tide, Roll!
Dumb comment. He’s got a ton of NFL level skills. Injuries are another matter but the guy can play.

Tua is not an NFL QB.
And you'll be wrong all 1000 times + however many more times you say it.
I'm not a scout, but Tua's accuracy looks impressive.
He's the same size as Mayfield.
He's very tough. He has plenty of arm strength and accuracy and is elusive but not a scrambler like Hurts.
It doesn't seem like you've spent much time watching him play. You're way off base.
Come on. He's going to be an NFL QB & a very good one @ that.
He'll be on the Pats, in the Welker, Amendola, Edelman, Hogan mold.
He's 12-15 for 153 yards and 2 Yes he's thrown a couple of terrible passes but saying that's "struggling" is a bit much coming from the chairman of the Eli Manning cheerleading squad.
I've been a huge fan since the spring scrimmage last year. He just looked like a pro from the get go.
Where did you see that?
When you watch him play live, his velocity and accuracy just are on a different level. When people have talked about seeing the difference in QB's before, I've never really seen it. Once I saw Lawrence, I knew what they meant, and the dude is a freshman!
They need a nice answer drive here and go into halftime down one score, and regroup.
I'm not counting them out but I'm surprised with the D. They're gonna have to start bringing some pressure, force some Clemson turnovers or some three and outs.

Sorry my brother was fucking with me. When I wasn’t looking at the screen.

Turnovers and the kicking game are going to be Bama's undoing in this one if they can't get going. Going to need a hell of a 2nd half to win.

Yep. Have to get points on this drive and eat up enough clock that Clemson can't answer before half.
The defense got off to a good start... but then we spotted them a score and have struggled defensively since.
Going to have to get some stops otherwise this ain't going to end well.

same here. I only got to one game but his velocity is noticeable.

Dick punch him for me BB
Expecting Bama to have a better 2nd half - but if Clemson scores again here, it might be too big a hole.
The defense needs to force a turnover or make a big play in the worst way. Lawrence has tons of confidence now and there's not enough pressure getting in from the edges.

What a miserable f ck...
Yup. Now I'd be happy to get out of the half as is.
Shore up the defensive line and offensive line next 2 years and secondary, and then get Lawrence in 2021.
I dont see any way the Giants are a playoff team next year. So to me its just a question of if you would be ok with punting 2020.
Lawrence looks to me like the QB you would build in a lab if you had the ability to build the perfect QB.
Dollars to donuts when time comes for either, giants will be no where near obtaining them
