Figured a separate game thread would be a good idea as to not cloud up the draft prospects thread with 300 other posts from other game-related stuff.
I know most of the world is already tired of this matchup. But they're the two best teams, and if the goal is to have the two best teams be left standing at the end, it's happening here.
We can debate the recruitment process and everything else until the cows come home, but that's for another day.
Saban vs. Dabo. Tua vs. Lawrence. Bama vs. Clemson.
Expecting another one to go down to the wire with these teams. They've been on a collision course all year. Now they're here.

I dont see any way the Giants are a playoff team next year. So to me its just a question of if you would be ok with punting 2020.
Lawrence looks to me like the QB you would build in a lab if you had the ability to build the perfect QB.
I'll be celibate if need be until the day he's on a podium with a Giants jersey.

Teams will be falling over themselves tanking in 2020 to get him. The second teams think they are done you will see a tank like you never have before. I know people will say coaches wont do that, but I think this kid will have teams doing things they rarely do.

Defense struggling in coverage, Clemson's coverages are confusing Tua and he's not seeing the field well.
I expect adjustments and a good TD drive to start the 2nd and then we'll go from there. Defense has to figure out a way to get off the fucking field.

This game has convinced me that next years starting QB for the Giants should be Kyle Lauletta. If we lose every game.....OK, fine, great. Whatever it takes to get Lawrence in 2020. It wouldnt be an official tank, but, well, you know. Press can ask Gettlemen for the reason for Lauletta and he can say "because we feel he gives us the best chance to win". He can leave out the rest of the sentence, which is "for the next 15-20 years".
