Figured a separate game thread would be a good idea as to not cloud up the draft prospects thread with 300 other posts from other game-related stuff.
I know most of the world is already tired of this matchup. But they're the two best teams, and if the goal is to have the two best teams be left standing at the end, it's happening here.
We can debate the recruitment process and everything else until the cows come home, but that's for another day.
Saban vs. Dabo. Tua vs. Lawrence. Bama vs. Clemson.
Expecting another one to go down to the wire with these teams. They've been on a collision course all year. Now they're here.
Roll Tide, Roll!
Even Jonah Williams looks mortal. Ferrell completely mauled him over earlier
Sweeney out coaching Saban..
Anywhere but the NFCEast
And it's kinda nice that the master recruiter couldn't bag the Bama HS wr.
And I'm loving it. Hope Clemson runs up the score.
But here we are.
Higgens 6'4" 200 lbs Sophomore ..
And I'm loving it. Hope Clemson runs up the score.
I agree I hope they keep their foot on the gas pedal and put up 60 on satan
Haha, reminds me of the old Giants Stadium. I remember going to the famous Eagles/Giants game in 2002 and by the end of the game the field looked like a dirt yard.
Bengals could swap places with the Browns. Raiders are always a candidate. One of the teams who picked a QB this year might realize they have to cut bait, or might be forced by having a terrible record. SF could suck.
Hell, we could suck, but I doubt we'll suck enough.

Really makes you think about the Giants next QB. Lately a lot of people have assumed 2020 draft is the year with Tua and Fromm. Tua will more than likely end up a first rounder but the #1 overall talk takes a hit tonight. Fromm does not look like a first rounder.
Exactly what I warned about saying we’lol just trade up and get a guy in 2020.
There’s a long way to go before we know the NFL prospects of Fromm and Tua.

at least for tonight, Williams got the best of him. He's definitely an option at 6.

As I mentioned earlier, Ferrell got him once all game, and it was that play. Other than that Williams kept him in check.
Agree. He's not having the best game but he belongs on the field with these guys.
what worries me about Ferrell is that he's surrounded by talent on the DL. what would he be like without those guys.
Uh, why is that?

That one play looks bad, but I saw a handful of others where he just stoned Ferrell.

I agree, but that play was oooooooogly. You're gonna see that play a lot in the coming months.

Should have been in this game. What a disgrace.
Uh, why is that?
Tongue in cheek, Greg.
Gotta be fair about it, he was playing on one leg vs Georgia and had surgery on it after. The two int's tonight were bad plays no doubt but I'm not sure he's 100% yet either.
Clemsons Oline is fantastic.
They are abusing this loses Bama team.
Not tonight. I do like Christian Miller though.

Fixed it for you...FWIW
What about Jonah Williams? Quinnen Williams is still my second best prospect in this Draft.

On any Bama player at 6.

I don’t think either player is a game changer and that’s what I’d be looking for at 6.
The LT will prob be a solid pro. Q Williams will probably be a solid pro. But I think there will be more impactful players available at 6.
