It's just chatter and is not based on any knowledge or even any suggestion that it is a possibility. I only bring it here because I suspect some would jump at the offer.
What say you... if SF offered their 1st and third for OBJ?
That would give the Giants # 2 and # 6 and a high 3rd.
Would you consider this offer if it was real?
OBJ to SF - (
New Window )
2nd overall pick straight up for Beckham? Good luck
I still wouldn't trade him unless the offer was ridiculous. He's an absolute game changer, and a generational player.

Your proposal has far less value than the proposal on the table...
Crazy stuff.
He should not be labeled injury prone. I wouldn’t even infer or imply it
YES such a good idea.
YES such a good idea.
Very few want him traded. I sure don’t. But if he was, we’re simply stating what we should receive in return. It’s just for discussion purposes, nothing more. At least for me
His injuries are gonna have to get way worse before I can take any of this seriously.
Look at the top 6 guys from last year's draft:
Mayfield
Barkley
Darnold
Ward
Chubb
Nelson
None of those teams would trade one of those guys for Beckham straight up, and we wouldn't trade Barkley for Beckham if he were on another team.
Hugely unrealistic.
Don't read this as me thinking Beckham must be traded, but that's an offer you can't refuse. Work out the cap details later.

On top of that, when was the last time a top 5 pick was traded for a current player?
Six losing seasons in Michael Strahan's career. TRAID.
Interesting offer.
Crazy stuff.
His contract wouldn't necessarily be "a ton of cash" to the team trading for him since they wouldn't be on the hook at all for his signing bonus.
I'm not remotely in favor of trading him, but the contract wouldn't be an obstacle for any teams that might be interested. If anything, he'd be more attractive as a trade target since the acquiring team wouldn't need to sign him to a new contract themselves (unlike Khalil Mack, for example).
Beckham isn't getting traded. It's a waste of time.
Greg Kittle? See if they can throw in Ron Kittle too!

Damn it. I'll throw in the Tender Vittles then. But I'm not throwing in Kerry Collins.

I will begrudgingly accept the Tender Vittles.
You’re not getting that much for a wr. He had better be 23 and perfect. Obj is great but he isn’t 23 and he isn’t perfect.
He acts out often? We have good WR's without him? He doesn't make a difference when he plays?
What the hell did I just read.
You subtract Beckham and the Giants have the worst WR group I can think of in the NFL.
