I assume Saban made him a deal that if he stayed through the season he would waive his "sit" year, right? Seems only fair... especially since he saved them against Georgia.

Hurts has already graduated, so he wouldn't need any waiver from Alabama to play next fall.
a self-proclaimed "insider" from another message board that is saying Maryland (due to the Mike Locksley connection), Oklahoma, and Houston are his top 3 right now.
But Houston has a really good QB who is coming back. Oklahoma has a top QB coming in but they probably want him to sit for a year. Although, if they think he could be like Lawrence maybe they won’t block him.

King is coming off a torn meniscus. Who knows how he recovers.
Seems to be an nfl talent. He grew a decent amount. I beleive he was listed a couple years back at 5’11. Now he’s 6’2. Cuse football is back but I hang tight and wait for Bs input. A friend of mine and co worker played for cuse so I get a lot of good insight from him. Darrell Smith he played briefly for the Texans as an undrafted free agent and for what it’s worth said JJ Watt is the nicest guy he’s ever met.

They've got a stud UA All American taking over for the next three years.
I thought of that too, but for a one year gig, UCLA does not look so good. They are too far off talent wise.
I don't think much of him as an NFL prospect - but he's a great kid and I'm looking forward to seeing him play wherever he winds up.

Cuse have a QB opening?

What’s the kid’s name that’s supposed to take over?

makes a lot of sense.

Maryland new head coach is Mike Lockesly, former Alabama OC, makes sense.
Being from Houston, TCU would be a good choice. Always a pretty good team

Not saying Hurts will follow that path, but it was an easy sell.
