Jamon Brown Injury Question

Diver_Down : 1/10/2019 8:07 am
I was reading the Daily News mailbag article and it was mentioned that Jamon was playing on a hyper-extended knee. Was this ever revealed on the injury reports? Was it mentioned in other interviews with Shurmur? Perhaps, it is the reason for his play falling off at the end of the season.

Good question.

I do not recall. If so, that certainly could explain any fall-off
If a player doesn't miss any practice time

he isn't required to be listed on the injury report

But it's possible, I am not sure then the Giants are going to settle with Brown anyway, they may, but I do think that they will look to upgrade it or at least bring in competition. There are a couple of good centers and it was suggested that they could add one of them and move Halapio over to guard, they love Halapio we all know that and he was playing the best out of everyone on the line when he was hurt.
In free agency

I forgot to add. Matt Paradis/Denver, Mitch Morse/Kansas City, Morse has had injury problems the last two seasons, but is a good player when playing. They also could just look to upgrade him with Roger Saffold/Rams.
Saffold seems to get called for a ton of penalties when he’s matched

up against decent defensive linemen.

I hope we re-sign Brown while also drafting a few OL.
It would be hard to find an available guard who can fit under the cap

And better than Brown. If RT and Center are upgraded, Brown May be the weak link. He was an upgrade over Omameh because he didn’t drag down the play of the 2 guys next to him.
