may become eligible immediately but his case is an absolute joke. Doesn't mean the NCAA will do the right thing, but using that someone yelled a racial slur at him at a game or whatever as his reason to leave and play immediately is so damn funny considering it was such a hostile and horrible place for him that his sister signed to go there after the racial slur was apparently used.
even if Fields isnt eligible immediately. At best he'd be the starter for one year and they clearly recruited over him with Fields. Leave now and even if he has to sit out a year go somewhere else. Why would he stay at somewhere where they want someone else to start? So he plays this year and then sits the following year. I'd rather sit this year and say fuck you to Ohio State and play the following year somewhere else
The Fields family has employed Shea Patterson’s attorney and because of the language used by the former UGA student referring to Justin, I would think the NCAA would have to grant the immediate eligibility.
that language was so hurtful for him that his sister signed with UGA. Makes a lot of sense. Can't stay at the school because of it but it didnt stop his sister from signing with UGA.
If the NCAA lets him play immediately, then they need to complete get rid of the transfer 1 year rule. Then every off-seasn can be like free agency in college football
